Jack’s Scaremagic
Queue Changes –
Starting outside the marquee outside is different Mickey has been swapped out for Jack Skelington wearing a tuxedo and the Sorcerer’s Hat. While all mention of Mickey’s name has been swapped out for Jack’s. The interior of the queue will obviously change as well with all mentions of this attraction being Mickey’s Phillarmagic changed to Jack’s Scaremagic. The room is now lighted with a darker tone with cobwebs all around the queue. All the posters stay the same since this is still the same concert hall.
After the guests collect their opera glasses the waiting room has had similar changes to those in the lobby. Minnie will welcome guests to the show as normal. Soon the theater doors open, and guests take their seats. The curtains have been changed to a darker maroon color. The various backstage antics as occur as usual. However once the main curtain is opened we saw a musical note door cleverly hidden which seems to follow a similar look to those found by Jack in A Nightmare before Christmas.

As Donald finishes setting up, and puts the Sorcerer’s Hat where it is supposed to be he mutters under his breath taking one longing look at it as he goes off stage. Everything seems practically normal until the music note door opens wide with Jack Skeligton walking out of it amazed at his discovery. A few notes of What’s This plays in the background. He puts on the hat, and as he does the instruments start to play an instrumental version of This is Halloween as the instruments fly around in a swirl of dark orange a breeze goes through the room. The hat appears being sucked into the vortex followed by Jack yelling for help, and for the hat to come back. As they both go through the vortex the screen blackens as the other curtains dematerialize.
Jack appears in the dark, and we can’t really see him since you know no eyes. It’s okay however you can hear him blink as a few notes from Friends on the Other Side quietly play. We hear a staff tapping the ground as two candles flicker on revealing Facilier standing tall above Jack. He pulls Jack up while he tells Jack he can see the future. Jack intrigued agrees, and notices that his hat is missing followed by a question if Facilier has seen it. Facilier just laughs as he snaps his fingers lighting up his entire emporium, and the hat upon the head voodoo mask.
Facilier:
Sit down at my table
Put your minds at ease
If you relax it will enable me to do anything I please
I can read your future
I can change it 'round some, too
Make your wildest dreams come true!
I got voodoo
I got hoodoo
I got things I ain't even tried!
And I got friends on the other side.

Jack:
This all sounds fascinating, but my hat is right there!
As Jack climbs towards his hat Facilier’s shadow grabs Jack’s shadow, and throws him into a chair. As Jack tells him this Facilier laughs in response. Snakes soon constrict Jack to his chair.
Facilier:
Are you ready?
Transformation central!

The screen once again becomes dark as Facilier, and his emporium has magically disappeared. Well all, but for plenty of trinkets, Jack, and the faintly glowing Sorcerer’s Hat. As Jack reawakens, and reaches for the hat a door opens. The Magic Brooms soon march in throwing bucket upon buckets of water cleaning the mess. As the kid broom comes in, Jack tired of all this nonsense scares it causing it to scream. Mama Broom comes in with her giant bucket pouring it all around filling the theater with “water”.
As the scene clears up from all the bubbles covering the screen it is revealed that Jack is in Ursula’s lair. As Jack gets up, he’s glad to still be dead. Floatsam and Jetsam float in from Ursula’s garden of Poor Unfortunate Souls awakening them sending Jack to watch them. A mysterious shadow appears from behind, and tells Jack that it’s rude to lurk in doorways you know. Jack turns around as Ursula slinks in to view, and is asked by Jack to help him find his hat. Ursula grins at his request.
Ursula:
My dear, sweet child. That's what I do. It's what I live for.
To help unfortunate dead folk like yourself.
Poor souls with no one else to turn to.
I admit that in the past I've been a nasty
They weren't kidding when they called me, well, a witch
But you'll find that nowadays
I've mended all my ways
Repented, seen the light, and made a switch
True? Yes
And I fortunately know a little magic
It's a talent that I always have possessed
And here lately, please don't laugh
I use it on behalf
Of the miserable, lonely, and depressed
Poor unfortunate souls
In pain, in need
This one longing to be thinner
That one wants to get the girl
And do I help them?
Yes, indeed
Those poor unfortunate souls
So sad, so true
They come flocking to my cauldron
Crying, "Spells, Ursula, please!"
And I help them!
Yes I do
Now it's happened once or twice
Someone couldn't pay the price
And I'm afraid I had to rake 'em 'cross the coals
Yes I've had the odd complaint
But on the whole I've been a saint
To those poor unfortunate souls
Ursula’s ghastly hands come out of her mystical sea shell and enter her cauldron conjuring up the hat. All the while Jack looks in amazement. Ursula's magic hands begin to pull the hat out.
Ursula:
Beluga sevruga
Come winds of the Caspian Sea
Larengix glaucitis
Et max laryngitis
La voce to me
As Ursula gives Jack the hat she manically laughs. She begins to shoot ink and swim away in a spiral pattern once again leaving Jack in the black. As the ink clears we see that Jack is now high in the air tied up in a dungeon looking room. The Sorcerer’s Hat is adorn by a cowboy wearing, slot machine, gun wielding, slot machine along with two others that mirror it’s appearance (minus the hat). Various skeletons that loom tortured are in cages hanging. While a large spider web is nearby, but no spider. A machine whirring is soon heard as a chain is lifted revealing Jack’s captor; Oogie Boogie. Jack tells Oogie to let him go, and to give him his hat back. To which Oogie replies.
Oogie Boogie:
You're jokin', you're jokin'
I can't believe my ears
Would someone shut this fella up
I'm drownin' in my tears
It's funny, I'm laughing
You really are too much
And now, with your permission
I'm going to do my stuff
Jack:
What are you going to do?
Oogie Boogie:
I'm gonna do the best I can
Oh, the sound of rollin' dice
To me is music in the air
'Cause I'm a gamblin' Boogie Man
Although I don't play fair
It's much more fun, I must confess
When lives are on the line
Not mine, of course, but yours, old boy
Now that'd be just fine
Jack:
Release me fast or you will have to
Answer for this heinous act
Oogie Boogie:
Oh, brother, you're something
You put me in a spin
You aren't comprehending
The position that you're in
It's hopeless, you're finished
You haven't got a prayer
'Cause I'm Mr. Oogie Boogie
And you ain't going nowhere
As Oogie says this he activates a saw blade to cut Jack in half. Jack outsmarts Oogie, and uses the blade to free himself. He then kicks Oogie in the stomach sending him into the spider web trapping him. As Jack starts to swing on the chain to reach his hat the robots are activated. Three children voices are heard saying in perfect unison No one does that to Mr.Oogie Boogie! The robots move out, and although he gets the hat back one robot shoots the chain. Plunging Jack and the hat into a fiery pit of molten lead.
The screens are now engulfed in fire, and lava. Jack is awoken by Hades who greets him, and says that he hopes he enjoys being baked, broiled, and burned! With that he disappears into the fire causing the fun to really begin. At first Jack only battles the Firebird, but soon other fiery beings join in the fight. As the room begins to cool he sees himself in a cave with plenty of bones all around. Jack turns to see his hat atop a mountain, guarded by hyenas. A lion jumps out of nowhere. Startling Jack, and causing him to hide behind a rock.
Hyena Clan:
Long live the king! Long live the king!
King, king, king, king, king, king!
It's great that we'll soon be connected
With a king who'll be all time adored
Scar:
Of course, with pro quo, you're expected
To take certain duties on board
The future is littered with prizes
And though I'm the main addressee
The point that I must emphasize is
You won't get a sniff without me!
So prepare for the coup of the century
Be prepared for the murkiest scam
Meticulous planning
Tenacity spanning
Decades of denial
Is simply why I'll
Be king, undisputed
Respected, saluted
And seen, for the wonder I am

As the song goes on the rock that the hat is upon crumbles on the last note the whole rock gives kicking dust into the air clouding the screen. The dust begins to swirl as Jack reunites with the hat taking him back to the Concert Hall, and all the instruments. When he returns he scares Donald, as he leaves. Mickey come son stage, and thinking Donald made the mess is enraged with him. The show ends as usual with Donald flying into the wall.
Special Effects –
During the regular showing of Mickey’s Phillarmagic overnight new heat emitters will be installed into the theater. For a limited test run the heat emitters will turn on when Lumiere appears for Be Our Guest, and will run until the napkins begin to spin. While HD Projectors will be on site with the new film ready to go, and the original film being converted into HD while the overlay is happening. This way when Jack’s Scaremagic debuts it’ll be in HD, and when Mickey’s Phillarmagic returns it’ll be in glorious HD.

Like it! As someone who puts a lot of work into everything, I can see that you really put a lot of hard work into this, so great work. Love the idea of having Jack come in and out of a music note-shaped door. It really adds upon the whole mythology of the Nightmare world.

Excellent idea. I would personally swap Minnie's narration with Sally's. Goofy can be replaced with the Mayor of Halloweentown. You know the guys a nervous wreck when it comes to scheduling.
I was throwing that around in my head, but I decided to rather have Jack steal the show, and not him truly host it. Hence the Music Note Shaped Door
