I posted in the trip planning area on Aug. 13th that we had to cancel our trip for Sept. At the time I was heartbroken and couldn't imagine not going this year. Since that time, I have limited myself to just a couple visits to the site, and I'm finding that without continuous planning of Disney vacations, I have a whole lot of time on my hands for other things. I find that I hardly use the computer anymore...that's just weird.
I've also discovered that we are thinking of going to some different places now that I've gone through WDW withdrawal. :D
That doesn't mean that I won't still visit this site and share all the fun times everyone is having planning and going on their WDW vacations. It just means that I will be spending what used to buy us a week at Disney on 2 weeks at another place or two or three.
I sat and watched the Little League World Series with my husband, and we will be going to Williamsport, PA next year for the 2013 series. It looks like a really nice place.
We hope to go back to WDW someday, but it might be in a couple years, and I never thought I would say this but, I'm ok with that
Happy Vacations all.......

oooh, this is my opportunity to pick your brain! Other than PA, what other places have you thought of visiting? Have you considered the Adventures by Disney? They're crazy expensive in my opinion, but just curious what other ideas for travel there may be.

Probably would not consider Adventures by Disney for just that reason....too expensive. My husband would like to check out "Hot August Nights" in Reno, as we have a couple show cars. Thinking of taking one of them out there.
Also, maybe visit a friend in the Portland, Oregon area, and would like to see the Smoky Mountain area of Tennessee. I have taken us to WDW at least 10 times since 96, and have not gone anywhere else. We might be missing out on some really nice vacations. We can use the money from one trip to WDW for 2 trips elsewhere. Just want to try something else for awhile....
