I have a problem, a good problem, but a problem none the less. I have an ADR for T-Rex on my DTD day but thanks to @real mad hatter and his great food threads my boys now want to go to Earl of Sandwich and try either the meatballs in a cone or the chili in a cone! Decisions, decisions what to do? I'm not on a dining plan so all my meals are out of pocket. Doing the cs will save me money!!!!!!! Help! What do you think?

Sorry Plan A was to do T-Rex for lunch and Fresh a Peel for dinner now my boys have me upside down! They want to try the cones for lunch and go to Earl for dinner!

Ok..Id Definately keep Rexy for a dinner and have the " Cone " for snacky poo's for your boys.By your description of your loved ones, they'll have no problem doing both. ( I mean by description there big strapping boys ) The Cones are sold in the marketplace but check its not one of those " Limited " things..As far as paying for them,no problem..You pay the bill with your server, then take the receipt to the Spinning Tea Cups in MK.Show it to Alice and ask her for the cash.Tell her the real Mad Hatter will square her up when I see her next..;)Hey Whit!!! It's worth a try..

Earl is good eats, but at the risk of being flamed by lovers, feels like any other (rather good) sandwich shop. Nothing special there to me.

T-Rex, on the other hand, just feels like a tourist Mecca. I am not a fan of Landry's concepts. It's expensive (because it can be), the food is average Applebees style fare (because it can be), and I frankly don't get much out of the decor.

HOWEVER...my daughter absolutely adores the restaurant, and I've not been able to avoid it on any trip!

Oh boy, you do have a dilemma on your hands! It basically comes down to this ... IF you listened to the boys (face it, we usually do!! LOL) It's a win/win situation ... they get to choose, plus you save money. However, if they're into dinosaurs, they will miss a very entertaining meal, plus there are a couple salads Figgy-Mama will really enjoy. I'd say, show the boys Youtube videos of T-Rex, then let them decide. Good luck, Darlin!!!!

We love the T-rex. Our kids are big fans!!! If you have never been, I'd stick to the plan and check out T-rex!

Id agree, it's worth doing at least once (even though Im not a huge fan). Oh, and when you show up for your ADR, ask to be seated in the Ice Age. It's cool! (pun intended)

Our T- Rex dinner last year was far better than we were expecting..Here are my good points...Great T-Bone for me,DS loved his strip steak, and DW loved her Rib Eye..Awesome onion rings..Cocktails superb ( and strong ) Great theming and watching kids faces to the animatronics was a blast..Bad points..Only one..Yes,it's loud, but hey, your eating with Dinosaurs, what would you expect..;)

I would do Earl of Sandwich and the cones. Go into T-rex and shop around or get a drink from the bar. I really felt T-rex to be over priced for the quality of food. I know many people had a great experience. Ours, not so much. We will go back, have a drink, and let the boys build a dino. IMHO you will save money and have better food:)
