16 days til we leave!!!! AHHHHHH
Magic Bands came yesterday (via next day air!), Fastpasses have already been arranged, dining reservations have been reserved....packing list has been started. It is getting real!
This is the first time that I will actually know someone else that is going to be at WDW while we are there! It's crazy!

Here's to hoping I get everything accomplished before Thanksgiving!!
The one thing I am concerned about is socks....yes, socks. I don't know why, but out of everything I could be concerned about, socks are top priority. Anyone have any good sock recommendations? I need some with padding on the heel and toe if possible.

My favorite socks are Peds and I've only been able to find them at select Walmarts. They have what you're looking for-padded heals and toes and are short so they look great with tennis shoes and capris.
Sounds like you're ready to go, have a great time!

I've had good luck with several different brands of moisture-wicking padded running socks.

Here's one example: http://www.hanes.com/clothing/women...y-dry-cushioned-womens-athletic-socks---ankle

Those look good. I went to Academy the other day to look at socks (both for me and my nephew-who has extremely large feet) to feel them and get a price range. I've been to Walmart and to Target as well and I cannot decide. Eventually, I'm sure I will go to Richards Sporting Goods (I call it that....you guys know the real name) even though they are a little more expensive than anywhere else. It would be great to have the sock challenge finished by next week so I can start packing!

I like the gold toe sock, but I usually avoid socks at wdw, every time I have gotten blisters I was wearing tennis shoes and socks.

Most of my socks are Gold Toe, but I don't wear them while I am "long distance" walking. I have to wear socks. I don't remember getting blisters on my feet while at Disney, but I am prepared. First aid kits are a priority for me!

The blister band aids are awesome ! They don't bunch up and come off, but hopefully all will go well for you and no first aid will be necessary!
