I tolerated that song and I still like that ride but all morning all I heard was a crappy old ice cream truck driving Arround playing its a small world over and over again and the loudest volume possible. So I go to the beach and I'm sitting in my car and they're he comes and now I'm blocked in and that music is drilling at my ears.

Small world seems to be an Ice Cream Truck standard. To be far, around here, they also play Christmas music all summer as well. Nothing like a hot July day, buying ice cream to the tune of Jingle Bells.

In my hometown, the ice cream truck either plays Small World or Turkey in the Straw. It's still just as bad as going on IASW! My inner Scar gets channeled everytime I hear it. In other words, my mind screams, "No! No! ANYTHING but that!"

HAHA! We have one of those too. Its so creepy lookin. So is the driver. IASW always seems to be playing when it passes our place. My fiancee says shes boycotting it not only because of the creepyness, but because of the music! She has PTSD from being stuck multiple times for long periods in the white room. lol

And it's so out of tune. It sounds like a kid's toy that's running out of batteries but yet not out of its misery. That's the nail on the chalkboard for me.

I grew up on a dead end street that only had 3 houses at the end and the kids in the other 2 houses NEVER bought ice cream from the truck. After the first week of the summer the driver figured this out and wouldn't bother to come down our street. So we could hear the truck and IASW on the streets in front and behind us but never got the payoff of ice cream. Really sucked as a kid.

I had the completeness opposite by me. when I was in high school there was only one little kid on the block who lived across the street and one house Down and every single day the ice cream guy just pulled up and parked in front of the house knowing they would go get ice cream. it was kind of creepy, I kept waiting for a chris Hansen type guy to pop out any day. ( in perhaps the worst left turn ever in a thread, how low do you think someone has to be on the totem to be forced to be the cop disguised as a tree on that show?)

Our ice cream guy usually plays some kind of ragtime mash up, so I'm typically reminded of Jim playing piano outside of Casey's. Of course, I'm one of those people who likes IASW, so I'd be good with it if he played that...and if I heard Baroque Hoedown coming from my street...man, I think I'd head outside with our glow jewelry and Disney light up spinners. :D

The electrical parade soundtrack would probably work verry well for an ice cream truck believe it or not. It's a long line of popular Disney songs and would sound normal thru that little cheesy speaker.
