Some how I missed this announcement at D23. But it's a Small World has been made into a short form children's series that will premiere later this month.

The song, which is called “On Our Merry Way,” was penned by this Disney Legend as the theme song of a new short-form animation series called It’s a Small World. The series is loosely based on the characters featured in the book series about the famed ride at Disneyland. We don’t want to give it all away, but let’s just say it involves little adorable children taking a hot air balloon around the world.
