Its a pin miracle...

I am so excited. Last August my wife and I went ahead and booked our next Disney trip for this upcoming November. I had been doing everything I could to set us up to receive a pin code but wasn't expecting to receive any offers until at least sometime this summer. Lo and behold I received a pin offer in the mail yesterday. I'm hopefully going to save about $400. A big thank you to Richard at Kingdom Konsultants for the advice on trying to get a pin code, it worked! :sohappy:

According to the pamphlet that came with the pin, it is for 30% off of rack rates. Thats sounds about right for the amount I am saving.

As for how I "worked " the system: :drevil:

1. If you don't already have an account on the WDW website, create one and not just one, create an account for everyone in your party,
2. Price the trip you are taking or would like to take,
3. Save the trip, don't book it, on everyone's account that you created and finally,
4. When the moon is full, find your favorite WDW plush character, get a real chicken, build an altar, and sacrifice the chicken with the plush character and pray to the pin gods. Make sure the plush character is not a cheap knockoff from China or you might make the pin gods mad. Not a good thing.

I have done almost all of these tips and have NEVER gotten a pin. Looks like I'm going to have to visit a farm and pick up a few chickens!:brick:

Hey extreme times call for extreme measures. :ROFLOL:

On a side note, just because I received this pin doens't mean that I'm not hoping for something better. I am hoping that we can snag a free dining pin through one of the other accounts that I set up. I can only wait and see.

According to Richard you can more than one pin to a package. What I mean by that is that you can swap one discount out for another if it is better. Obviously they won't let you stack one discount on top of another.

I figure even if we don't get free dining pins, it will likely be available to the general public during the fall. But being an uber-planner, I'd rather have a PIN in hand so I can lock down all the details months in advance.

If that means killing a few chickens, so be it.
