Itinerary Question

Im revising my itinerary due to the September hours, they were a little shorter than I expected. Is it realistic for me to plan Epcot the day we fly in? Our plane will arrive about half past noon, we are staying at POR with Tiffany Towncar Transfers. What time could we realistically be at Epcot? I dont expect that we will get through everything we want to see in the first day either. I have an entire day free for fill in time (just in case we need to go back) and we have ultimate hoppers. We arent really concerned with making it to the water parks and with the parks closing so early, we have plenty of nights for downtown disney too. I have a full day open for each park (MGM, WDW, AK) plus a full day to finish epcot or anywhere else, plus the 1/2 day we get there for epcot. Does this sound realistic? I also have a character BF and D on different days. I want to be flexible because I dont know how long my 4yo can go each day.

I think it sounds very reasonable. Your four yr old might surprise you on the endurance level...our kids did on our trip in May. No one needed a break at the hotel since the park hours were shorter and we had lunch in nice sit down a/c rest. I would estimate you could be at Epcot by 2pm....of course that is if your plane is on time and all...maybe say 230 to be on the safe side. Have a great time...my big hint would be to avoid the character caravan at the resorts like the plague! hee hee...just my opinion though...seemed like every parent at the resort got their kids up early for that...to avoid standing in lines for the characters...and all they ended up doing was standing in lines at the resort to see the charcters....

We were just there in Feb, and we actually enjoyed the shorter hours. We were able to sleep in (until 7:30) and enjoy our mornings without feeling like we were missing out on something. There are so many great things to do outside of the parks, it was nice to have some time to enjoy them. :)

I'd see how you feel when you arrive - you may be tired and in need of a rest. On the other hand arriving at WDW may kick in extra life and you'll need something to do with the rest of the day.

Have fun.
