Itinerary Dilemma...Help!

We are visiting WDW May 13-19. There are a couple of days where according to Undercover Tourist will be in the red. Magic kingdom and Animal Kingdom are those 2 days. They each have an EMH in the morning so my question is this. Is it worth it to switch my originally scheduled days for these parks ( and change adrs) just so I can get MK out of a suspected red day yet at the same time lose EMH for both?

So I guess to sum it up, would you rather deal with a predicted red day and keep the EMH in the morning or try to avoid a suspected red day and lose the morning EMH? Thanks!

If you have a hopper, you can hit the EMH and then move on to another park for the day. If not, I would probably skip it. We usually don't buy park hoppers because they didn't fit how we vacation at this point so I generally do avoid the parks that have the morning EMH because they tend to be really crowded.

I probably wouldn't change my days around, especially if it meant losing ADR's. I spend a lot of time getting ADR's, so it would take a lot for me to change them around or risk losing them.

I visit in early-mid May, and I've never really seen it be so bad that you'd need to switch days. A 7 as a park day I've never thought was that bad, especially early in the morning. I can see how the Star Wars weekend would bring higher crowds at the end of your trip to DHS. But as far as MK & DAK go, I don't think you should worry too much.

On potentially busier days, I would visit the parks early & make use of fastpasses. I think you'll find it very bearable.

We need time for things to happen.
Do you have park hopper passes? Either way:

Do the emh kick the park's @$$ and get out by noon.
Most of the "red" days mean that by mid day and on its jammed.
You hit rope drop or morning emh and you'll usually be unaffected by crowds.

As far as your adr. As i said above:
Either split go to another park (if you have a hopper)
or
back to the hotel and come back later for the adrs.

EMH mornings are the best. Even though the schedule says red, it does not mean that the parks will look like 4th of July or Christmas day. Animal Kingdom, to me, is a half day park anyway. If you can get on an early safari and be done by 8:45, you are set.
