ok.....first timers going down with us from Monday 8/26 - Thursday 8/29

Thats 4 days...so u figure four parks..works at well....NOPE....

theres going to be 6 of us...... 3 have already been.....and three have never seen.......

2 of the 3 that never seen are 9 and 6.......and we have a 16 year old ...whos gone...but never really experienced the magic...like done ToT and RRC ad the big rides!

and the younger ones pretty much just want to do MK straight through.....but I explained to them that theres kool stuff at MGM EPCOT and AK too......

I'm trying to work it all together.... like factoring in the hours, crowds and HEAT! but I'm still stumped.....
heres what I have so far-

MON-MK
TUES-epcot-resort-mgm
WED-MK
THURS-AK-resort-MK

We can't realy do the water parks because we don't have the options....with the passes....

and looking at it right now.....hours seem early closing....so we'll have the evenings to ourselves.....

any help would be great!

yeah Tiggerlover is right...AK doesnt take all that much time..understand that you will have to "skip" some stuff at each park with your tight scheduel..I would highly recommend getting a good travel book...Passporters, unofficial guide, or the one by Kim Wright Wiley...WDW 2002 w/kids or something like that..its great for planning w/children...let all 6 in the group go through and pick a few must sees at each park...also if your ages allow it split up in MK so the little ones can spend time in Fantasyland, toon town, etc while the bigger ones are hitting spacemountain...etc..
TWO more things....take advantage of Fast Pass, eride nights if they are available and you are staying onsite,
relax and have fun ~

I would recommend going to Epcot one night...your young kids would like Tapestry of Dreams and everyone would like Reflections of Earth...I'd say spend more time at the other parks than you have planned...

I dont know....T.o.D. was the least favorite parade for the five kids in our group...Spectro Magic and Stars & Cars..shared top billing for our kids...but every child is different...we sat for all of the parades..they liked them..but said they wouldnt watch it again...

thats a good idea ...... I forgot about ToD......Spectromagic isn't going on the days were all together.....

We figured On spending a night at MGM for Fantasmic....hence the half day with epcot in the morning......But since theres no other fireworks show......(Theres no FiS) thats a must see.....

huh....is there nething else we can do at night.....I really don't want to be stuck at the resort for evening hours every night.....

I recommend parking at Epcot and going to another park for the day then returning to Epcot for the evening and fireworks. I do this all of the time.

Only thing I suggest is to get the hopper passes. You can go to any park as many times as you want each day. This way, if you want to see the MK during the day, but want to eat dinner in World showcase at Epcot, you can. Splitting up the parks makes it more interesting for the people that have never been there.

Here's my two cents:

First, you're going at a kind of weird time of year. Park hours may be hinky and will probably effect how you tour. Two things I know seem to hold true, though. 1) Epcot almost always stays open until 9:00 (actually a bit later because that's usually when Illuminations start). The only bummer is that most of Future World shuts down at 7:00, so you're stuck with SSE, TT, and HISTA 3-D, as well the WS attractions. 2) Animal Kingdom always opens early, usually at 8:00am, if not then for sure at 9:00am.

Also because there will be daylight into the 7:00pm hour, Fantasmic won't be going off until at least 8:00pm every night.

With that logic in mind, here's how I'd do it, given your four day limitations.

First, I'd buy park hoppers.

Then I'd do:

1 full day at MK

1 morning to mid-day (about 5 hours total) at AK, arriving when park opens. Then heading to MGM for afternoon. I'd be sure to take advantage of the Fantasmic Dinner package to give my group plenty of time to do rides and attractions and Fast Pass whatever I could for the day. (Note: when we were at MGM over spring break, the park looked fairly crowded but stand-by lines for ToT, RnRC, and Star Tours were around 30 minutes all day long.) End the day with Fantasmic.

1 morning at Epcot to do Future World rides, including an Epcot themed PS reservation lunch. Then the afternoon at MK until closing (if they will be opened late enough have fireworks. If not, then do a full day at Epcot, ending with Illuminations.)

1 morning at MK (or all day at MK if it's closing before 8:00pm), then either take a mid-day break or monorial directly over to Epcot for late afternoon and evening fun.

thus the itenerary would look like this:

Day one: MK
Day two: AK in am, MGM in pm
Day three: Epcot in am, MK in pm (or all day Epcot)
Day four: MK in am, Epcot in pm (or all day MK)

I'd definately plan for parades, especially the Stars and Motorcars Parade at MGM--a big hit. There probably won't be a performance of Spectromagic since you'll be there on off-season weekdays. I'd also plan for at least one character breakfast either inside MK or at a MK lagoon hotel (Chef Mickeys or 1900 Park Faire) to get your group possibly inside MK before the TTC crowds hit the monorials and ferries.

From what I've gleaned from your plan, you guys want to go heavy on MK, but I wouldn't do 2 and a half days there and try to cram the other three parks into a day and a half. You'll be totally short-changing everyone if you do it that way. Just my opinion, though.

Thats an awsome plan!!

We tried to get reservations at Cinderalla's royal table.....but I don't kno if we'll have ne luck....

We do have the park hopper tickets....two of us have the annual...the other 4 4-day PH tickets,,,,,,,

No fireworks.....so we'll def have to hit illuminations....and Fantasmic....

Thanx for all the great ideas.....
