Italian Ice ?

As I sit here picking away at a refreshing lemon Italian ice...I was wondering if they were available anywhere at WDW? I can't recall ever seeing them anywhere, but I've been known to miss things (right in front of me) plus, it just feels like it would be a nice refreshing treat while strolling the parks in the summer heat.

I read that there is an Italian Ice stand at the DTD Marketplace that also serves soft serve ice cream and churros.

Hmmmmm....I feel like it could/should be worked into Epcot. Oh well, guess I'll have to smuggle it in if I want it there.

I agree! It would make sense and I thinks kids would go nuts for it unless they think it would just be too messy.

I agree! It would make sense and I thinks kids would go nuts for it unless they think it would just be too messy.

I can't see it being any worse than a Mickey premium bar...of course my kids would likely prove me wrong.

It's not itlaian ice, but the Minute Maid frozen lemonade cups are so yummy! They last a long time too! We get them at a small Frontierland cart by the popcorn cart.

I remember those! Yes, they are good and do last a good long time.

I don't think I've had those...but I could see them viewing those as a decent alternative to Italian ice. Maybe that's my answer!

Yeah, but is it REAL Hawaiian type shave ice? Or a substandard knockoff? Knockoffs range from New Orleans shave ice (in my experience, not as good as Hawaiian) down to passing off snow cones as shave ice.

I love snow cones, and still eat them to this day. But there is nothing like a real Hawaiian shave ice!
