Today was supposed to be spent packing for my vacation that I am leaving for in 2 days. Well, I wasn't in the mood to pack, so I decided to save that for the wee hours of tomorrow night. I went to Disney instead, because if I was gonna stay home, I would have had to of packed anyway. So, here we go, another update. Today, I went to all 4 parks, and have updates from each one...

So let me start at MK...

--The 20K Lagoon is COMPLETELY drained. No water remains whatsoever. Fantasyland also smells like fish again. It smelled the same way when they drained the lagoon the first time.
--Going over SGE on the TTA, I noticed alot of railings and stuff on the ground. Maybe they are FINALLY starting work on the outside of the building.
--When I got off Space Mountain, I noticed that the recordings that used to play on the speedramp while exiting ( " in the future, packages will be sent to distant worlds through beams of light" and the one about the "lab receiver") do not play anymore.
--The ToonTown train station was OPEN today.
--When I was walking to the park exit, I noticed a building on Main Street had scaffolding/Styrofoam stuff all over the edge of the building.
--Nothing has been done with the Speedway Seating area yet.
--The Tomorrowland Stage is completely gone (with a little area for future development). The tarp is off the canopy, and the canopy is almost completely gone too.

After MK, I went over to AK...

--Nothing new, except 3 cranes are now being used at the Everest construction site.

I walked out of AK, and went to AKL to cool off. From there, it was Epcot...

--The construction wall was STILL up on the left side of the Mission:Space facade.
--Also walled off was the children's water play area.
--Some more Mission:Space news. What was the "EXIT ONLY" ramp for people getting Fastpasses, is now the Fastpass entrance area. The "EXIT ONLY" sign was taken down, and a temporary sign saying "Fastpass Distribution -->" was put up, pointing to the ramp.
--The fountain that was in-between MS and TT has been replaced, by the same old concrete thing that was there before. They could of atleast left it there. It was better than looking at a concrete bench.
--Also closed were the bathrooms by HISTA and Figment. A sign was put up, saying they are being refurbished. With the Soarin' construction going on near by, I think it was a smart move.

And then the last stop was MGM...

--A temporary entrance for Indiana Jones was put up, stretching almost all the way back to the Indy shop.
--The old fashioned Mickey shop (I don't remember the name, but it is across the alley from the Planet Hollywood shop) on Sunset Blvd. had a leaky roof. It wasn't raining at the time, but water was dripping down, and onto the tile floor.

And that is it. I should be able to post the pictures soon, and then (ah man) it's time to start packin'. This WILL be my last update until July 12th (seems so far away lol).

How can you do all this in one day?! I'm sure you set some record.

Great updates! I'm upset by one thing, though: Music Makers and Sentimental Journey gone from Space Mountain? I hope this is only a glitch! :(

Thanks!! :sohappy:

I was thinking the same thing! Did you ride anything, or even stop to take a breath  . It seems like a lot for the day.

But thanks for the update!

I was able to do SM, TT, MS, TTA, LwtL, Muppet Vision, and Sounds Dangerous. The most interesting ride of the day, though, was the bus ride to the MK. My driver was a real character, and I was the only one on the bus! And believe me, in this weather, I have to pace myself.

Grizz-It was Mouse about Town. The name slipped my mind.

No, he just said that the voice saying about the pakages being teleported across the galaxy at the speed of light thing. He didn't say those music clips were gone.

Anyways, great update Patrick!

No joke. I don't know how you hop around so quickly for only being there for a few hours. I'd like to own a pair of those magic shoes!

Yea...I could actually hear the background music, and I really liked it.

As usual, great update. Thank you. I find it rather ironic that you are going away for vacation from the very place that the rest of us spend all year dreaming about! However, I understand your need to go on vacation. Have a great time.

Are you going to Disneyland?

this past trip, on my last day, I started out at Epcot with Mission: SPACE, Test Track, Spaceship Earth, and Living with the Land, took the bus to MGM for ToT, Indy, RnRC, and Who Wants, went to AK for Kilimanjaro, Kali, Tough to Be a Bug, and Jammin' Jungle Parade, then went to the Magic Kingdom for PhilharMagic, Haunted Mansion, Splash, and Wishes!

I believe some Sentinel Staff Reporters went to MK, Epcot, MGM, AK, Universal Studios, IoA, and Sea World all in one day.

 Thanks for the update Patrick!

I admit, every time I'd use the restroom by JIYI and HISTA, I took a peek of Soarin'. You get some pretty good views from there, but strange looks from other guests. :p Too bad its closed, though. It was one of the lesser-crowded restrooms.

Thanks for the update. There were two things that I noticed last week that may have been mentioned in previous updates, but when I rode the TTA I noticed that as you approach where AE used to be and SGE is going in, it mentions the convention center and then the recording cuts out abruptly because it will be replaced eventually when SGE opens. Also, not park related, but at Pleasure Island, I was sad to see that the Suspended Animation and DTV shops are no longer the neat collectible stores that they once were. DTV is entirely sports themed so there is alot of ESPN stuff there and Suspended Animation is now this little cafe/game room(billiards I think, darts, a couple of other games). I thought that kinda sucked, myself. Sorry if this stuff has been mentioned before.

I have regularly done three parks in a day, and been able to do a lot in them:
MK in the morning, AK in the afternoon then either MGM or Epcot in the evening.
