Hey guys, it's me Patrick, and I have another update for today. I started off at MGM, where I met up with Alex and his sister Sam. After MGM, the 3 of us went over to MK and met up with Kenan. Today's update is kinda short, but here it goes...
At MGM...
--The main sign on the front of the building for (what now is) "The Starring Roles Cafe", still reads "The Starring Roles Bakery".
--The two trailers located on Disney Avenue have been changed. One has been completely redone with a new Playhouse Disney overlay. That one has JoJo's Circus characters. The other one, now known as the "Disney Stars" trailer still has Pluto and Minnie.
--The seating area at the Studio Catering Co. has finally been brought back. All the time that the HISTK playground was being rehabbed, seating was removed from the area. HISTK was back open (although a tiny bit of construction wall is still up) and so is the seating area.
--The Golden Gate Bridge was added to the San Francisco skyline.
--In front of Indiana Jones, there used to be a pit with a rope hanging out. If you pulled the rope, you would hear someone scream, or somebody talking. That no longer works. It's still there, and the rope is still pull-able, but no sound comes from it.
--As for the Stunt Show-The stadium looks 80 percent complete. Seating, and flooring of the arena looks to be all that is left to be done. Back out front (where I believe the Stunt Show entrance will be) and big white steel structure was put up awhile back. That has since been painted yellow.
--Waits today ranged from 50-70 (TOT...RNRC...ST) to 10 Minutes (Backlot Tour).
Our next stop was MK...
--Ok...Already in Tomorrowland, we have a construction wall up at Stitch...One up by the Speedway...One over by the stage...and now, another one has been set up by the Speedway. This was is in the area where the seating is by the Coca Cola cool ship. A tarp has been put over it, so I could not see the work being done.
--The Space Mountain exit narration ("In the Future, packages will be sent to distant worlds through beams of light) still is not working.
--The 20K lagoon is still being destroyed. You can see a GIANT pile of dirt piled up on the far side. I'm guessing that is to fill is back up?
--It is very easy to peek through the construction wall over by the Skyway Building in Fantasyland. You can see that the little pond/waterfall thing that used to be there is now drained.
--A small sign, explaining transferring out of wheelchairs and other devices, was added to a post in front of the WDW railroad.
--I'm not sure if I had reported this earlier, but prices for water and soft drinks are back up from $2.00 to $2.50. Oh well, it was nice while it lasted.
--The nametags for the strollers have also been changed. If I'm remembering correctly here, they used to be a light blue color. Now they are brown with a Mickey Mouse head made out of, what looks to me as chocolate.
Oh yea, I have some DTD news too...
--The music that plays in the whole Marketplace area has been updated to include Home on the Range music.
--Disney's Pin Traders has been given an "Olympic Games" overlay, with flags and signs everywhere.
And yea, I think that is it. Pictures aren't really of anything special, but if you want a picture of something, lemme know, and I'll post it in my album.
(And Alex...I'm up to 6. I was tripping like crazy after I had left lol)
