ISTCrew's January 29th WDW Update

Hellllllllllllllllllllo there. I got another update from the world today. Nothing major, but just a few small things. Tifani and I went to Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and MGM today. Here are the updates.



Magic Kingdom News

~A crane is now up at the Magic Kingdom for the Castle overlay.

~Part of the construction wall near the front of the park was removed, and a much smaller flowerbed has taken the place of the old flowerbed. (Just kinda ignore the lady)

Disney MGM News

~The Chicken Little balloon was back up.

~A new display has been added in the Animation Tour. It's 2 new glass display cases with one side filled with Incredibles art, and the other filled with Chicken Little stuff.

~The large "National Treasure" poster on the back of the GMR has been removed and replaced with another huge ad, this one for "Ice Princess".

~Whether it serves as a radio tower or what, the construction that was being done to the RNRC roof has finally been completed. It looks like an actual soundstage now, and fits in with the rest of the soundstages in the park.

Epcot News

~Still no snow at Ice Station Cool. The machine is being worked on and hopefully it will return in the future.



That's it for today, sorry 'bout the short update, but whats new is new, and that's what was new lol.

thanks for the update. how long is that crane going to be there?

i think it might already be gone according to photos from yesterday. but it could have been "laying down" if you will. not erect.

maybe i need to rephrase that one part.............

exactly!!!!!!

i went back and edited that "maybe i should change that" after i was half way down the hall and realized that didnt sound good.

ok, ok, i got it.................. UPRIGHT. that is a better word

I was there the next day. The crane was still there, but it was in the down position so that you could really only see it from behind the castle.

thanks for clearing that up. i was hoping it was already gone. but oh well. i guess cindy still needs it.
