Islands of Adventure Tickets

Hello!

We are going to Disney World in a month and purchased a 5 day ticket package through the Disney website. The package says it includes Universal Studios, but doesn't say anything about Islands of Adventure. I just wanted to confirm that we'll be able to get into the Harry Potter attracitons with that ticket, or if we need to purchase another one?

Thank you!

This ticket includes admission to all 4 Walt Disney World Theme Parks (Magic Kingdom , Epcot, Disney's Hollywood Studios and Disney's Animal Kingdom) one park per day (i.e. no park hopping) and expire 14-days after the first use. They do not include admission to the water parks, and ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex.

Those are all Disney parks, none are Universal so don't include Harry Potter.

You likely confused Disney's Hollywood Studios with Universal Studios.

If you wish to visit Universal, you will need to purchase tickets for Universal parks, and have transportation to get there.

This reply says nothing about Universal Studios though..

Many guests who have never been to Universal do confuse that Wizarding World of Harry Potter is it's own theme park..But, it's not..It's just a Land within the 2 Universal theme parks were your going to Hogsmede in Islands of Adventure & Diagon Alley is on the Studios side of their parka and are Included with your Park admission. HOWEVER, if you have a Park-to-Park pass (Universal's version of Park Hopper) You can board the Hogwarts Express and experience the train from Either end from Hogsmede to Diagon and Vice-versa..

Just to clarify - you MUST have their Park to Park pass in order to ride the Hogwarts Express. I've had some clients get confused with that.

To even make it more clear. Universal Studios IS NOT A DISNEY PARK. It is a completely independent company with a theme parks (Uni & IoA) about 8 miles north of WDW. You cannot buy a Universal/Islands of Adventure ticket from Disney.
