Is Tom Sawyer Island still open?

I h!ave never gone to it and we are going to WDW Feb 24(YIPEE!!!!). I definitely don't want it to disappear with me never having seen it and I think my 4 year old son would love to play there. However, I do not see it listed on the MK map I got with my confirmation/check in package. I hope I am not too late

Yes it is still open and I seriously doubt it will ever close.

They don't label the island, or the location of the raft landing (which is how you get to the island) on the generic park maps they send out with confirmations.

However, the real park maps (which you get in the parks) shows the Raft Landing as number 15 in Frontierland. It's near Big Thunder Mountain.

Your 4yo will love it! Great way to burn off energy

Thanks! I hope it never does close but I have skipped attractions in the past only to have them gone by the next visit---figured it would just be my luck! I'm so glad it is there waiting on me.
