Is this cutting it close?

Some last minute discussions with my friends means that they want to do lunch at the Crystal Palace. We land in MCO at 11am, staying at Saratoga Springs (I figure we'll probably get there around 12:30). From SS, we're going to DTD to catch a bus to Shades of Green to buy our park tickets, then taking the monorail from the Poly to MK.

Would it be cutting it close if I made reservations for that day at Crystal Palace at about 2pm? I don't want to rush their first impressions or anything. I'm hoping there will be time for at least a first ride before lunch.

If not, I'll schedule it for the day after. But can anyone give me an estimate? Thanks!

Ouch... yeah I'd say that's cutting it close. In fact, I would say there is absolutely no way you'll get there by 2:00 using the methods you've said. Remember that you still have to check in once you get to SS, and that could take some time. The only way I'd risk this would be to spring for a taxi to get from SS to SoG... that would cut a significant amount of your time right there. I think the only way it would work otherwise is if every method of transportation you use is there waiting for you when you arrive... which we all know isn't always the case!

The schedule sounds a little tight, but not impossible. The Crystal palace is so close to the entrance at MK that it wouldn't take too long to walk there. Taking the bus to MK would save you a great deal of time also (no monorail or tram).

Way too tight. First of all it its predicated by your flight being on time and there a just so many X factors that could ruin the whole thing. If you could get in a bit earlier, have a rental car or a cab, or push CP back you could make it work. Otherwise, everything will have to fall in place perfectly for it to work.

If you didn't change the date (which is definitely your best bet), something else I might have suggested would be to immediately send one person (the one who is eligible to buy the tickets at Shades) to buy the tickets, and then go to the MK.
The others could then check into SS and take the bus direct to the MK and meet up.
