Is this correct? 3 in a king room, CBR

I just booked a reservation for my family at CBR. It is my wife and our two kids, both under 3 yrs old. We wanted a King bed room, we figured it would give us more room to setup two pack'n'plays for the kids. I was told that the King rooms only allow 2 adults and 1 child. A little annoyed with this.

Has anyone done something like this?

Neither of the kids can really sleep in a bed, much less the high ones that they have there. Do I tell them there is only going to be one child?

Thoughs?

thanks

I don't think you'll have a problem at all with that setup. It's been awhile since we've stayed at Caribbean Beach but if I remember correctly, the room was pretty large - and we had a king bed also.

Go for it! What does Disney expect you to do, get an extra (attached) room for your two babies?! That's crazy.

Here's what my DH and his best freind who both work there say....

you can put as many toddlers as you want in a king bed room, but they have to be 2 and under... 3 y.o. is a child and must have a separate bed, not a crib.

Disney doesn't seem to realize that some families have two children under the age of three and makes no provisions in the rules for it. If I were you, I'd just book the room with two adults and one child under three. I guess that's breaking the rules, but oh well. You shouldn't be punished because you have two toddlers.

Bonny: I didn't know your DH was working for Disney now. I guess I need to catch up.

Yeah, since November Maelstrom! I am also working on a website for MJ, it will be much bigger than her blog and easier to navigate too :)

You can book with two toddlers, but you have to do it over the phone and if they say you can't, ask for a manager.

Officially, a King Bed Room at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort can accommodate a maximum of 2 Guests plus 1 infant (age 0-2) in a crib. This is in accordance to Florida State Fire Codes. The Disney Reservation Center (including Guests Services) cannot book a reservation to exceed the maximum occupancy of the room. Only Resort Management can make an exception to this policy for a Guest who is currently on site at the Resort. No exceptions can be made by phone.

Hope this helps! :sohappy:
