Is There Really an Imagineer Shortage?

According to Jim Hill, there is. In his recent article on the topic, he claims that the Imagineer shortage is causing the recent postponments to the start to the DCA re-build.

He goes on to say that Dubai is drawing all the talent, specifically the third party contractors that apparently WDI was going to rely heavily on in the DCA re-build.

He claims WDI is hiring. I know some of you out there would be interested.

Also, I had no idea that so many of Disney's competitors were committed to building in Dubai:

[quote from Jim Hill Media]And Dubailand isn't going to have just one theme park. This $104 billion mega project is going to have multiple parks. These include Universal Studios Dubai, a DreamWorks Animation-themed park, Legoland Dubai and Six Flags Dubai. Not to mention the deal that Nakheel just cut with the Busch Entertainment Corporation. Which will allow this Dubai-based developer to build clones of SeaWorld, Aquatica, Discovery Cove and Busch Gardens as part of the Palm Jebel Ali island project.[end quote]

NO there is not

There is no shortage. I would apply but my degree is in Management Technology and Business not engineering. There is no shortage of talent.
