Is there nowhere to get early morning coffee drinks at USF?

I have been looking around, and it doesn't seem like there is anywhere to get early morning coffee drinks at Universal. The Starbucks in City Walk doesn't open until 8am.

Is there not any place that opens by 7am?

B/c I have to get going!!!! :) Early HP starts at 8, so to get in there, you need to be already there by 8.

Also, I think I would need to go get the caffeine ahead of my family being ready.

The Starbucks really should open at least at 7 for those early people. I guess they have determined there are not enough people who need coffee that early? That seems crazy to me!

What about your hotel? The Starbucks in CityWalk really is not located in a place that is convenient for Resort guests heading to Islands of Adventure.

Probably would stay at RP. I don't see anything listed for a cafe there. I didn't see any at any of the hotels for that time of the morning.

The Cinnabon in Port of Entry may be open. You probably can get coffee at Three Broomsticks. Of course, this is all moot because there's no doubt that any hotel you stay at will have coffee.

Have fun though! IoA is beautiful and peaceful early in the morning.

Do all three hotels have Keurig machines?
I think they do. I know PBH and RPH had them when I was there. They had little cup things, too, though I don't know what flavors. I know they had caf and non-caf.

My sister wasn't with me during my two little nights at HRH, so I don't specifically remember it being there, but I'd bet they have them there, too.

I plan on staying at Royal Pacific in December for two nights before checking in at Disney. If this is the case, I'll just pack some of my favorite k cups from home.

I just checked Uni's website.
One of the listed amenities for Royal Pacific is an in room Keurig, featuring Emeril's brand coffee and assorted teas.

After my sister found out, she brought hers, too. It was one of many things that had her saying, "Oh, my GOD, this is SO much better than Disney!" First time we went, we weren't staying in a Uni hotel and did valet parking at the park. "God, this is so much better than Disney." Then we walked on the moving sidewalk. "Oh, my God! Why doesn't Disney do this?! This is SMBTD!"

Boat rides vs. driving (or, heaven forbid, Disney transportation.) SMBTD! Pastamore, Margaritaville, Mama Della's (not a favorite of mine, to be sure), SMBDT! Package delivery to the room. SMBTD! FOTL, SMBTD! I heard it over and over again, lol.

The larger rooms, better service and Keurigs were sort of the mark of the end of Disney hotels for her, lol. She flipped over those little coffee makers. Didn't care for the Nescafé.

They have them at RPH. :)

I can confirm this. I was at Royal Pacific in August, and it had a Keurig, along with a nice (and free) selection of teas and coffees.

I loved using that every morning, and even in the evening for a nice tea before bed.

Well, as long as it's free I'm good with what they provide. As long as they have some good old coffee flavored coffee!

It was excellent! They had a whole range of blends and roasts in a basket next to the coffee maker. Also, the coffee cups they leave for you to use are high quality and come with lids. Perfect to snag on the way out the door for the walk / rikshaw / boat ride to the parks.

And yes, free!

Orchid court lounge is open at 6:00 AM serving various breakfast items including Starbucks products. you can find the menu on the RPR's website.

Thanks! I had not seen this. When I clicked on dining for RP, I guess I thought that the list with the small blurbs was it. According to Allears menu (which is extremely old), they do have mochas, which is my preferred drink.

It opens when Uni opens. I would prefer to have had some before going to the park. There is also one outside the park in CW, but from what I have read, that also opens at 8.

The Uni hotel rooms have individual cup size Keurig machines in them, so you could just make your own.
I don't use in room coffee machines. I have no idea what people before me have done to it. And I have no idea how the cleaning people have "cleaned" it.

Exactly!!!

That is good to know about. Out of the way as far as going to HP from RPR, but it is good to know about all options.
