Hi! I'm taking my soon to be 13 year old nephew to Disney World for his birthday. He loves doing card tricks and magic tricks. Is there a magic show in Walt Disney World? Many thanks!

Show or shop? Shop closed 20 years ago. California and Tokyo still have theirs.

If you are looking for shows, Boardwalk has magicians and entertainers on the south side (the "Entertainment District") every night from 7:00 to 10:00. There are some pretty talented performers there, and it's all close-up, street-performer style.

If you're traveling via car, there is a magic shop called "Y.E.S. Magic" inside Artegon Marketplace. Its a fun little place about 20 mins off property near Universal.
There is actually a pretty amazing Magic Shop called the Great Magic Hall presented by Theatre Magic just a couple of minutes outside of Disney in Old Town Kissimmee. I try to visit every trip and they sell awesome video tutorial tricks and have professional magic shows many times a day each day...check out their website I'm sure you won't be disappointed. I have been really hoping that Disney Springs will bring a magic shop back or even at the Magic Kingdom one day.

Ahh, the long-gone magic shop is a VERY sore topic of discussion for me. Growing up in the 70's and 80's as a kid, the Main Street magic shop was the absolute highlight of every trip. I would buy some magic tricks and mess with them the whole day while at the park. Also, back then, there was an additional smaller second magic shop over by the Haunted Mansion in that little free-standing "shack" near the line entrance by the river. They obviously did not have as many magic tricks as the Main Street magic shop, but they had some none the less. I'm not sure what the year was, I believe sometime in the 90's, when the Main Street location closed and the magic shop moved over next to Princess Fairytale Hall where the mickey/beanstalk shop is now. Not sure when it closed for good. I can still remember some of the tricks that I bought some 35 odd years ago. One of my favorites was, although not an actual magic trick, the fake ice cube with the fly inside. I got many years of use out of that thing...
