Is Splash Mountain closed this week?

I know its a stupid question but is Splash Mountain closed this week. I know its a stupid question but the ride fills up in 20 minutes, the big refurbishments are supposedly done and I haven't heard any new news since the announcement before the refurbishment.

See it's been so long I've lost track of time. Had FP for it last April had a little time to kill so we rode the boat around the island and I was taking pictures of SP. Took me a few minutes before I realized the water was coming down but no boats, it was down again.

Its been 3 years for me now!!!!!! it's been closed on me for 3 years, they just love to close / remove all my favorite attractions LOL, what next... are they going to cancel Illuminations?

Actually 1992. DL's opened in 89.

Yeah that sounds more accurate. I looked it up after and didn't read more after i saw the year. I saw 89 and thought I was crazy. Lol

As of last week, the entire front of the mountain is torn apart and there is scaffolding and work being done everywhere...reopening March 21st they say -- but it might take longer from what I've been seeing
