Is Sonny back?

Hey all somewhere around here what a thread about Sonny MIA due to the Magic Music Days and the stage and all that. So I am wondering if Sonny has come down out of his hole in the sky to get back to work? We are going to be there in 2 weeks and are looking forward to seeing him again.

We were in there on Friday (7/02). Sonny's stage was down, but there were a bunch of planters on it, so I couldn't see if Sonny was actually on there or not. I"m thinking that he wasn't... maybe he's being worked on.

The Real Truth About Sonny: I heard Disney was having a labor dispute with the Animatronics Union. Seems the Animatronics want better dental coverage. I hope they get it settled soon and Sonny comes back in August.

I never knew Sonny existed until a few weeks ago when he was mentioned in a thread.

Then again I've only been in Cosmic Ray's less than a handful of times and never noticed a stage there :lol:

I was just there 2 nights ago and he was playing. Also about a month ago they had a band that was just finishing by the time we got our food, but after the band left, they cleared the stage and brought Sonny back down. Yay. I love him.
