Trying to make our ADRs and it's unclear to me if Raglan Road is on the Disney Dining Plan? Does anyone know for sure....our trip is in September if that makes a difference?

Love a little Disney every day!! ;)
Thanks! When I checked on Disney's 2015 pdf file of the dining plan it doesn't list them....only Cookes of Dublin?
Did you check as of today or right when the list came out? The list was probably not finalized until 1/1 or the first few weeks of January. It should be on there as of today as it is always on the dining plan every year. :)

No I checked on Disney's site as of today and it is not on their PDF dining plan official list and when you check on their menus, Raglan Road shows "some dining plans accepted" indicating that it could vary with the time of your trip? Hmmmm?????

No it never varies whether it is included or not by the time of year. And if it still has that on its menu it's definately included. When it says some dining plans accepted it's because of course the quick service plan is not included as it is a table service location. Disney prob never updated the list when everything was fully finalized for this year. :)

Your very welcome! Don't worry you'll be fine and get to enjoy your bread pudding. Also Cookes Is attached to them so that would be just weird to include them and not the main restaurant. lol. If it was not included believe me there would be angry posts on these boards by now! Haha :)

That one I'm not currently sure and nor have I heard that it was not included. Personally I would not waste a dining credit there anyway. I know they have a few tasty items but you don't hear a lot of positive feedback for them. Just my opinion. There is so many other delicious options to pick! :)

Big River Grille has very limited acceptance of the DDP. It is at least 1 table service, and menu options are limited (meaning, you can't order everything off the menu).

The best way to find the details of what is, and isn't, included is to call 407.WDW.DINE, and if they can't clarify, they can give you the direct number to the restaurant, where they can.

True you can call but sadly some CM's give you the wrong info. I have had that happen to me before and have heard many others having this problem too. So that is not always foolproof. Lol :)

Some of the third party restaurants that have limited acceptance of the DP will also change their menu's mid-year as well...changing what options are available.

It's never a best bet...and, as a result, I'd just plan to pay those restaurants out of pocket for the trip (if you really want to go there), and if they do take the DP you are pleasantly surprised when you arrive.

I personally have never had a problem with acceptance of the dining plan at any of the 3rd party restaurants. Also was never limited to what you could order on the plan either. I think there is only a few that do this including Big River Grill (I never go there though) etc. Never had any issue at Raglan Road and several other 3rd party ones. We have eaten at almost all restaurants around property and always have the dining plan and have not come across many if any limitations so far.
But yes it is good to prepare yourself that something could change just in case. :)

I see Raglan Road and Big River on the DDP brochure, under Table Service Meals.

We did Big River Grille with the dining plan last September. I don't recall them saying there were any restrictions, but we just got burgers. I really liked it and would go again, but it probably wasn't worth using a TS credit for what we got.

Two that are in the parks that I know for a fact are (or were as of 2013) limited menus when redeeming TS credits are Le Chefs de France and Marrakesh, just as examples. Disney doesn't operate either restaurant. They accept the DP, but not all options are available under credit only (or they limit appetizers / entrees, etc...) It varies per restaurant...but, most of them are 100% DP, so I never really think much of it.

Yeah Marrakesh is one we have not gone to yet. (Eventhough we love middle eastern type food.) so I of course couldn't speak for that one, and Le Chefs De France I think has gotten better as of 2014 as for things included but do not quote me. Lol. :)

Lol! I did not want to ask that but did think of that when you mentioned you saw Cookes included which is a quick service. Don't feel bad we all do things like this sometimes. :)

80%+ (guessing at that percentage) of both menus were on the DP. Chefs had a few items that you couldn't order on the appetizers and a few entrees, as I recall. Marrakesh was a bit less inclusive. They had some "whole meal" options which were included, but the rest, even though I was on the Deluxe plan, I was limited to only an entree and a dessert...unless I ordered one of their "whole meal" options.

A few of the restaurants (T-Rex pops to mind, with the chocolate extinction) have dessert options which you can only order if you are a group of two (using two adult TS credits).
