Is it worth it

We are going to try to book a Speciality cruise for my niece's birthday in Nov. Is the $100 difference for the Birthday cruise worth it? Are the cake and drinks and decorations all that? Or is it more frugal to bring our own refreshments and horn blowers?

Also is my new doo dad working? lol

I am under the impression that you cannot bring any of your own drinks/food/etc on the cruise. I had a conversation on a monorail one afternoon a month ago with a man that had just done a cruise, and he said that when he tried to bring a cooler with water, peanut butter and jelly sandwhiches and coke, they told him he would have to leave it in his car. Maybe they changed the policy, however, I doubt it. Perhaps you can call ahead!

We did the birthday one for my daughter last year. We had 10 people and the cake was really good and balloons were nice. It was worth it to us. esp like all parties that you pay to have catered .the best part is when you are don't have to CLEAN UP! :sohappy:

Why would you bring all that on a cruise where you have sooo much food already paid for?

I´m not sure if I would pay for the party, but I am guessing that if all you need to make it noticeable are hats and horn blowers, you can squeeze them in your luggage with no problem. After all, it´s your party who will look funny wearing them! I don´t think anyone will say "no" to that! :animwink:
