Is it true....

that you can go a park, leave, and then come back to the same park if it the same day? A CM told me this and I didn't not believe it. Has anyone done this. For example, go to MK for breakfast or whatever and then go back to your resort, and then go back later on for fireworks as long as it is the same day.

Yes, you have unlimited entry on each day if you have a single park pass and the same would go for a park hopper where you could go to HS in the morning, Epcot in the afternoon and back to wherever you want in the evening.

Yes. Lots of guest go back to the resort for a rest, a swim, to recoup, give the kids a break, refresh themselves and then attack the park fresh.
It can be a life saver to get those breaks in. I usually stay in park until closing once I arrive, but there was an August trip where I had to go back to shower and change into dry t shirts after particularly humid mornings. I never would have survived without he breaks.

Amen! We have done it every time we have went to DLR for several reasons. Pool time in the afternoon, kids want to be in the other park but meet for lunch wherever we are. Any number of reasons. Awesome thing to have

Let me add another vote for the midday return to the hotel. My wife and daughter enjoy the day so much more when there's a break; daughter unwinds, wife takes nap, and daddy reads or strolls the grounds (if I'm somewhere with strollable grounds). It also opens up more options for lunch, especially if you have a car.
