Is it too late to purchase dining plan?

I purchased a vacation package online from Southwest that included flights, hotel at Music and Park Hopper Tickets and got a really good deal. It was not an option at the time of purchase to add the Dining Package. Do you think that when I check in at the hotel that I can add Dining to my Park Hopper Tickets? Has anyone ever added Dining AFTER purchasing park tickets or any other sort of package? Any thoughts would be appreciated...thanks!

I'm fairly certain you can't add the DDP once you're there. It has to be purchased as part of a package.

I'd suggest contacting Southwest and asking them to add it to your current package asap and hopefully they can.

Again I'm not sure, but I think it has to be added a certain amount of time in advance. I don't remember what the timeframe was. Maybe PM JPVonDrake [a member here who works at CRO] he can usually give you the full details...

Thanks for the advice. I gave Southwest a call and they were able to add the DDP to my vacation package with no problem (of course at an extra charge...which is fine). Cool! I am glad I did not wait till check in to see if this option could be added.

I believe you have up to 48 hours before you check in. after you check in it is too late. that is what a reservation cast member told me. I think it was 48 hours.

i also booked my upcoming trip on southwest. i recall that the disney dining plan option was listed second from the top in the theme park tickets prompt section, but it seems you've already resolved the matter. have a great visit to the world!
