Oops - I'm new here and posted a job related question on the main WDW board. But it sounds like there are different people visiting this board so I'll try again. Apologies to those of you who end up having to read this twice.
My DH is in the Army and will be retiring in 2007. He would love to come work for Disney, but we are wondering if you can make enough money as a CM to actually support a family. An hourly fast food type job isn't going to work for him.
He is currently working in a maintenance management job but is also safety qualified.
I'm curious about Disney pay scales. Is there anywhere to find out what kind of salary range the company offers? Surely there are other employees/CMs who make a real living, all the jobs can't be minimum wage??
Also, we will be at WDW for a week at the end of the summer. He has already posed his resume with Disney and we are wondering if it would be worthwhile for him to try to talk to someone at casting while we're there, even though he's committed to the Army till June 07.
Thanks for any input.
