Is it better to buy a package or just a pass?

What is better a package or a pass?
My trip will be for 6 days 5 nights.

a package!!!!! one little card opens your room, gets you in all the parks. And its good from the moment you arrive ( we get there around 7 am ) till the last park ( including P.I.) closes

In the past the cutoff point between pass and park hopper was 5 or 7 days with fl residents discount

IMO annual pass (or seasonal pass if you can get it for your dates, which would be much cheaper than a park hopper but you'd have to pay for the extras ie disney quest, cirque etc) would be a better buy and you can go back again and stay offsite and have a really cheap vacation just a fleabag motel and meals...ahh memories of my own childhood (j/k)
