Is Easter week as bad as Xmas week?

My wife and I are debating a trip down to WDW the week before Easter,4/1-4/8. Our only concern was the crowds. We were down there this past Xmas between Xmas and New Years and by midday the crowds were ridiculous. Is the week before Easter that bad too? Thanks for your input!

It isn't as bad as Christmas week from my experience, but it certainly isn't a time that I would want to be there. There are still a ton of people there and sometimes the parks do experience closings.

Me and the family just went last year for Easter, crowds was okay i would say a 8 for the first day or so then after that it was crazy....... lines was supper long. But if you plan it right it will be okay.

I'd disagree -- it's about the same as Christmas week -- very crowded everywhere, including virtually impossible to reserve dinner anywhere, at least at this late a date....

If you go, have fun, and pack your patience.

We are also bringing our 2 1/2 yr old son. During Xmas we got everything done in the parks bright and early and were on our way out by the time the large crowds were coming in. We looked and found most of the dining that we wanted. Now just debating if we want to go or not. All of your advice is helping with our decision. Not an easy one.
I was thinking that it would be a little less crowded than Xmas because not everyone has Spring/Easter break at the same time.
