Is Breakfast at Crystal Palace worth it?

I checked out their menu at allearsnet and saw the following:
Freshly Baked Pastries, Scrambled Eggs and Omelet Station, Variety of Potatoes, Assorted Breakfast cereals, Seasonal Fresh Fruit.
Do they not have other things like pancakes, French toast, waffles? I want to book an early breakfast to get into the park before the crowds, but my DH was NOT thrilled with the dinner buffet there, so I am wondering if the breakfast is better than the dinner.

They have all the usual stuff most of the breakfast buffets have including waffles, French toast , etc. :)

For us it is definitely worth it. We book an 8am breakfast ADR every trip for Crystal Palace. Breakfast is by far their best meal, IMHO. They have all the typical breakfast foods including mickey waffles and biscuits and gravy. Google it to get an idea. Getting into MK early is a bonus too!

We don't have much in the way of MUST DO dining at WDW, but Crystal Palace breakfast is a must. Please don't let lunch or dinner cloud your judgment/impact your decision. Breakfast (food-wise) is soooooooooooooo much better!

They do have the traditional items on the buffet in addition to a handful of Crystal Palace specifics. They have tons of Mickey waffles, not sure about regular French toast- but there is Pooh's puffed French toast which is awesome, and I'm pretty sure I've seen pancakes. My personal fave...the breakfast lasagna. It doesn't look like much, but holy rich decadence!!! I highly recommend breakfast there...and it's great when you can get a pre-park opening slot. Obviously the 8:05a is the most popular slot, but we've dined as late as 8:40a...well, seated about 10 min early with that...and still made it out into MK just after the park opened.

If you're a fan of Pooh and friends, this is the place to be. My wife has been a Winnie the Pooh fan for years so to her it's well worth the price. It's pretty typical of most breakfast buffets at WDW with lots to choose from. My family has done it twice and I doubt we'll do it again but you should try it at least once before you pass judgement plus if you get an early seating you can get some great shots of Main St USA.

That's my goal, to get great photos without crowds. We'll be there on my birthday, I think I'll make reservations for that morning!

It's a first full day must do for us mainly because we fly from the UK and are all jet lagged so are wide awake early first few mornings and secondly it's got a great atmosphere and you get great empty park pics while waiting to get seated

We went nearly every time when I was a tween and teen. It was a good way to load up on calories before a long park day, haha.

I feel the food quality's not quite what it once was, but that is somewhat true property-wide. It's still good and fun, especially if you like the Pooh characters. It's a good choice for kids,; lots of stuff they'll eat.
