I have some gift cards that I'm thinking of putting towards a day at WDW.
This day is during a trip where I may or not be able to rope drop a park because of other commitments.
There's a handful of things at EPCOT and DHS I would like to see, plus the MK Christmas decorations and Jingle Cruise if it's happening.
Since 2019, I have only been to MK during the day or for MNSSHP. I remember years ago during the afternoon DHS would not be crowded as the morning crowds had left and the Fantasmic evening crowds hadn't arrived. Now it sounds like the opposite is true. EPCOT also used to be quiet at certain times of the day, but now sounds like a mess, especially during Food and Wine weekends.
Should I purchase a hopper ticket, or just pick one park? Or just do two like EPCOT and MK?
For reference, I don't have much interest in the Star Wars or Toy Story rides as I've done those at Disneyland, though riding RotR again would be nice. Similarly, I've done Ratatouille at WDSP and don't really want to ride Guardians.
From what I've read and watched online, it sounds like any visit to DHS without a full-day commitment or shelling extra for Genie+ is a fools errand. I'm not sure there's enough to justify just doing that park for the day, but I would like to ride ToT. I know about the 2:00pm hopper rule, but not sure if the time it takes to get from park to park would make it a challenge to do more than two.
