Irresponsible neighbours

Hi guys,

I've had a thread here in the past regarding my horrendous noisy, selfish, ignorant neighbours. Well I'm back to moan again!

There are a few big trees in the gardens behind our row of houses, one is in the garden directly behind my neighbours. I noticed a few days ago that this tree appears to be dead, it is bare while the rest are full of green leaves, plus small branches are falling off into my garden, there is also a massive crack appearing in it. I am concerned that it will fall and damage my house.

I've just found out while mentioning it to my other neighbour that my other neighbour had nailed cooper nails into it as the little green buds were falling into his garden  their garden btw is a concrete garden that they don't use unless they wish to lock their 5 and 3 yr old boys out there, it has nothing in it apart from a shed, they are not garden proud at all.

How irresponsible to kill a tree, this tree is not even on his property, so now we have to hope the people who have the tree on their garden are willing to get it chopped down. Another annoying part is we get these little green buds fall into our garden still so they must be coming from the next tree along! So what if buds fall into your garden! I'm a garden enthusiast and I don't mind sweeping my paths once a week! Why would they be bothered, when they moved there their garden had grass and bushes but they dug it all up and replaced it with slabs and a shed, nothing else!

Isn't it annoying to be surrounded by greenery and nature!!!!!

For years, we had a set of flagstones under our deck that we no longer used. One day, I looked over into my neighbor's garden and I saw some flagstones that looked just like the ones we stowed under our deck. I looked under the deck, lo and behold, our flagstones are no longer there. The good news is, when they decided they were sick of them, they returned them. LOL

They have taken our pool toys without asking and used my son's Little Tikes toys that we stored on the side of our house. I went over and took everything back, what were they going to do, yell at me for retrieving my property?

They are otherwise friendly and quiet neighbors, but nervy.

I live next to a summer rental. I'm luckily not near the the cheapo rentals by the bars, but on occasion I get the people that do not care about those around them. Worst last summer was when they were blasting some EDM song that just kept saying "Barbara Streisand" over and over at 2am on a Wednesday. Which is just dumb when you chose a place in the part of town that is more suburban.

The owner is still fixing the place up so I won't have any neighbors on that side for a while thankfully.

My neighbors have two big dogs that they keep locked up in the garage most of the time and they always bark. Plus they let their dogs run around the neighborhood and do their business in other people's yards.

And they also let their daughters ride their bikes up and down everyone's driveways. And not to mention when one of the girls broke a fountain in our yard during Halloween from lack of supervision...

One Little Spark...
A few weeks ago my neighbor got busted by police. Four cars and they beat the door down and arrested everyone there. DFACS came for the kids. All this happened in the middle of the night...

A few months ago, I heard a woman wailing in the middle of the night. At first I ignored it, but after it had gone n for a half hour or so, I decided to walk outside and make sure someone wasn't hurt (there are some elderly women who live in my building). I walked around the whole building, and still heard it, but couldn't place it. On my way back upstairs to my place, I finally figured out where it was coming from...the apartment immediately below mine.

I put my ear to the door and heard walking and shuffling inside, so I decided not to do anything further.

In the morning, I called my landlord to suggest they may want to send someone over there to check on her (I have seen her a few times, lady in her mid forties Id guess, lives alone from what I can tell.

My landlord said "Oh, don't worry about her, she is a huffer. We've been working on evicting her for months."

Turns out, her sister is a Nun, and had gotten the lease in her name even though she didn't live there, in an effort to try and give her sister a nice place to live. This made sense, because Id see her come around with bags of groceries, etc, from time to time.

Well, a few months later, the eviction happened...in the middle of the night.

Yeah, I promise, I live in a gated community that up until a year or so ago was a very nice place to live, with mostly retirees and young families. Not sure what happened, but I will not be renewing my lease next year, I suspect!
