iPhone officially on Verizon

Anyone planning on getting one, or jumping ship from AT&T?

I don't think there will be a mass exodus yet, but I say in the next year we'll see Blackberry sales and user base plunge. Android adoption will slow and might recede a bit.

I'm waiting till the summer for iPhone 5.

Nope... I live in a place that already has two official iPhone providers (sort of).

Although I am curious to see how AT&T will respond to Verizon's hotspot capability. I'd like to use my iPhone as a hotspot without jailbreaking it.

AT&T seems to be banking on "We still have faster 3G and you can use data and voice SIMULTANEOUSLY!"

I don't care about voice and data simultaneously. Never have.

If it was on the 4G network I would have considered it for my next upgrade. If they come out with something new by July, I will have a very difficult decision to make between the iphone and new droid.

Two nights ago I gave up my Droid and went go an enV, in part to save money and also since I had many issues with the Droid, e.g. Switching around contacts in the middle of conversations.

I'm not one for touch screens, but I have considered the iPhone. Not sure I'll get one soon, though.

I have had a ton of issues with my Droid also. I finally had to have my Droid replaced. Unfortunately, I still have another year before I can upgrade. I might just bite the bullet and pay full price.

Either way, thank God the Iphone is finally on Verizon.

I Just ditched my BB Bold, for the HTC Incredible. But I will definetly going to be getting the IPHONE. I have been waiting forever for this.:sohappy:

My thoughts exactly!! I'm up for an upgrade in another month - but I won't upgrade until the iphone is available. The blackberry was NOT all it was cracked up to be.
