Hey guys, this is a ride idea that I have been thinking about for a long time now, and I just wanted to get it out. So if you have time, please read and tell me what you think
It really can go anywhere, not just a Disney theme park. It combines elements from lots of rides, like Revenge of the Mummy, Alien Encounter, Shrek 4D, Oblivion, and many others... And of course, it's called Invasion!: Alien Attack (I can't think of any other name, lol)
------------------------------------------------------------------------
Invasion!: Alien Attack is a in-your-face thrill ride using the latest and most cutting-edge technology to date. This indoor roller coaster combines a dark ride and a thrilling, high-speed roller coaster adventure. Alien Attack includes some new special effects and some of the largest animatronics to date. It will also hold record for being enclosed in one of the largest soundstages on Earth, and possibly, one of the most expensive rides ever created.
The adventure begins as guests enter what is known as the Institute of/fore Future Technology (or, IFT). The highly detailed queue winds it’s way in front of the building that closely resembles a “modern-museum”. Once guests enter the front of the building, they queue around a large and domed ceiling with pillars, and marble floors to give the feeling that it is a very sophisticated place. After traveling down a hallway, they guests then queue outside again at the side of the building. This part of the queue is “invisible” to the other park guests. The guests wind their way around a courtyard blooming with beautiful flowers and statues of famous philosophers of the future and famous scientists.
Guests then re-enter the building towards the back, where they enter the pre-show. It is here were guests are invited to take a tour of the IFT facility. After the brief pre-show, the guests travel around backstage areas and then “underground” until they finally reach the loading station. The loading station is stunning. With arched ceilings and elaborately decorated walls, it provides a futuristic and immersive feeling. The guests board large cars that sit six across in four rows. The car begins to leave the station where it is greeted by an animatronic robot that “dispatches” them on their tour. The ride takes some slow and calming turns while they are entertained by seeing some behind-the-scenes work on their latest inventions.
Then, the ride really gets rolling. They are now entering an off-limits chamber, and are the first guests ever to witness a real alien from outer-space. Similar to Alien Encounter, the alien is showcased in a giant glass tube. The car travels to the center of the room right in front of the tube, and then turns so that the car is now facing the tube. On board TV monitors with the ride’s host and crew members introduce this alien from you, saying that it was retrieved from Mars using their latest teleportation invention. Suddenly, the lights start flickering, and before the rider’s eyes, the alien starts to wake. The lights go completely out and you see it’s large red eyes staring at you. Then, glass shatters, and all you can see is large red eyes leaping towards your car. Strobe light effects are then used where you see the giant alien almost right on top of your car. The lights go out again and were you can feel you car “move” from the weight of the alien jumping on you car (this of course, is an effect that is used in the seats, and will be used later in the ride). You then hear the walls behind you car crumbling as the alien escaped. The lights come back on as well as the monitors, and your car begins to move again and turns facing the door.
But what they didn’t tell you is this, there are two more aliens that they found, and are now free and roaming their facility as well. The hosts on the monitors state that you need to report back to the control room B (control room A is where they are operating from), and that sadly, your tour is over. But, to get to the control room, you must journey through the warehouse. You come across lifts A and B. Depending on the cycle you’re on, the cars chooses lift A or B. The car enters an “elevator” to bring you back up to ground level where the control room is. Then, one of the three aliens appears at the top of your shaft. It rips apart the cables and your car is sent plummeting down the shaft, and the back up again. You are now just inches beneath the hungry and vicious alien, when the doors open and you car is literally thrown out of the shaft. You then speed around long, warehouse hallways where the aliens pop out from behind boxes and other devices to give you a thrill. It is also here where some fire and fog effects are used that are coming from things destroyed by the aliens.
The roller coaster part finally begins. You have to cross and almost “bridge-like” hallway to get to the eastern wing of the warehouse. The alien, on the other side, then destroys the bridge right in front of you. The alien then is almost in you face when then the brake holding you car before the drop is triggered and the car is then sent down a 90 degree drop. The drop is somewhere between 70-60 feet. The car then travels through high-speed banked turns and hills where you are ‘attacked” by the aliens a few times. You also speed by emergency exits that are blocked by fallen debris. After dodging one of the three aliens, the car then travels down a long hallway with flashing “warning” red lights. The car then turns 270 degrees upward and into the control room, all is safe, for now.
While slowing down and entering the control room, the car turns around backwards, like a car would when going very fast, then stopping suddenly. The “hosts” warn you that all three are now coming, and that you, yes you, are going to help stop these things. Your goal is to lure it into a part of the warehouse full of explosives, where the aliens will die, and you will hopefully escape. This mission briefing happens all to quickly before they enter the control room. The aliens begin to chase your car. To escape, your car is launched backwards and out one of the doors of the control room. This part of the finale is completely pitch black, with fog all around you. But the scary part is, is that the front of you car has a CGI projector on the front that projects red eyes of sometimes one, two, or all three aliens chasing your car.
You have now reached the “explosive” room. Here, all three animatronic aliens are visible and are chasing your car. The hosts at the control room trigger the explosives, but wait, you’re still in there! The car begins to spin around while still traveling at moderate speeds when fog, strobe, and fire effects are used to simulate and explosion. The first two are dead, and you are just feet away from the door that locks the chamber. The doors begin to close, and you wonder if you’re ever going to make it. The final alien lunges at your car when then the last of the explosives are triggered, killing the alien. While this is happening, you are just escaping the room. To simulate the explosion, the seats tip backwards along with strong wind effects and strobe effects. All is now black, as your car has slowed down and are slowly traveling dark hallways.
But! The power kicks back on, as well as the monitors. The people at the control room A are now overjoyed that the aliens have been destroyed, and that you’re safe. You then enter the unloading station, which is separate from the loading station. This station is an exact replica of the loading, but it is different because it now shows what it looks like after the aliens have attacked it.
You then get off your car and leave the station by journeying down hallways and then up some stairs. At the top of the stairs, a giant wall of TV’s are showing off the latest news reports of what you had just witnessed, all of them report that you are a hero! And that you have possibly just saved thousands of lives, or even the world from these aliens.
You then enter the top of the gift shop and go down steps and help yourself to all the merchandise! :sohappy:

I know some parts might sound a little weird and hard to explain, but hey, it’s just an idea that I came up with. Hope you enjoy it, and I’d love to hear any comments/questions/suggestions!
