I was at the Pop Century today playing Pump It Up (which was finally fixed as of last week) when one of the techs informed me that they had just gotten a new machine at All Star Music. So i drove over, and lo and behold in the food court, there it was, a brand spanking new Pump It Up: Exceed. Its the latest offering from Andamiro in their dancing series of games, and it rocks. $1 to play (like everywhere else on Disney property) and the machine is so new that the buttons still squeak a little when you step on them.

This ups the arcade dancing machine count (that i'm aware of) to 7
MGM (DDR USA)
MK (DDR Disney Rave)
Contemporary (PIU:Premiere 3)
Pop Century (PIU:Prex 3)
Beach Club (PIU:Prex)
ASM (PIU: Exceed)
AMC Theaters (DDR: Extreme)

I'm not counting the freebie Disney Rave at Innoventions, and I haven't been back to Quest to see if they replaced their DDR with something new. Last I heard they had an extreme, then got rid of it, possibly replacing it with the DDR 1st mix that used to be there.

Well if anyone wanted to know some "good" places to people watch....

I once made a definitive list of the best air hockey tables in Las Vegas....

Nothing like walking up to the doorman at the Venetian and saying . "Excuse me sir, can you kindly direct me to your air hockey tables".

Maybe they can use those machines as possible replacements for 20KLUTS or even better, replace the WOL at Epcot with Pump It Up Pavillion. :drevil:

DDR Extreme needs to go to Disneyquest.

Anyway, I really don't like Pump it Up. I don't know why but I think that DDR is so much better. But I still stink at DDR, I can only go up to level 6 songs on Extreme. I also can't do anything above 4 on Disney mix for some reason...

I heard that they had extreme for a short time at Disney quest, but they ditched it because of language. The title of one of the songs (its two words and the first word is "llittle") certainly doesn't fit Disney. As for disney mix being a pain, maybe its because its running at 30 fps. 5th mix and higher are 60 fps games. Playing 30 fps can make things seem more difficult ;). Oh yeah, you should try playing DDR with a huge flopping two foot tall mickey 4th of july hat, its.... interesting ;)

Just wanted to followup so that this is all in one thread. There is a PIU:Exceed at Disney Quest, as well as the original DDR:1st mix that was there long ago, So the total count is 9.
