internship question

has anyone done an internship? i am interested in doing one i a couple of years for costume buying. in a couple of years i will be having to an internship for my master's degree and i figured what better place then disney, right? how far in advance should i apply, how hard is it to get accepted, where do you live, how long is it? any info would be much appreciated.
