Internet connection at Old Key West

We will be staying at OKW for the first time this coming Sept. While we have convenient wireless connection at Saratoga Springs, I was told that there's no such capability at OKW. Does anyone know of there's even an ethernet connection to the internet at OKW? Or is there a more convenient way to get on line when staying there?

I searched on the DVC website but couldn't find any info on this.

Thanks.

I'm pretty sure you can get a connection (I don't know if it's wireless, I'm thinking not) for around $10 a day. I know I've seen webcam's from people staying there in the past.

Is that up to date? For example, it didn't list Saratoga Springs, and yet, I know for a fact that you do get WiFi there in your room.

So I'm guessing that, by default, there is "cabled" connection to the 'net at OKW. That would certainly be reassuring.

WiFi in the rooms seems to be a bonus of being near one of the hotels' hot spots. It does say "Some locations include:" before it lists them. I know there was WiFi in DAKL in February when we were there. Cabled connections are available everywhere now. And if you forget to pack the cable there'll be one in the room or you can call Mousekeeping and they'll bring you one.

WiFi costs money at the Beach Club, is it like that at the other resorts?

I believe all internet connection at all resorts on WDW costs money. No free connection.

i just got back and paid $10/day at Wildnerness lodge. It was wired (No wifi at WL) and they provided an ethernet cable. The one i brought didnt work for some reason. Keep a watch on your room bill because it may charge you more than once if you accidently press the accept button more than once.

I think that is the going rate for all internet connection at WDW (i.e. $9.95 or something like that for a contiguous 24 hours). That's what we paid for even with WiFi at Saratoga Springs all of this time.

I suppose this is one small aspect that I miss not staying at places such as a Marriott, like the Courtyard hotel right next to Disneyland. The internet connection is free! :)
