Internet checkin thingy...

Any word on this going live end of February? If I remember correctly, that was the target for this thing.

To clarify, this is the thing where you can do the confirmation for your hotel stay over the Internet and when you get to your Disney hotel, your "packet" is there waiting for you and you can basically bypass the whole checkin process, etc.

I'm going end of this week and was wondering if this was any closer to being online.

I believe the general word from Disney is "it'll happen when it happens". They've been having issues with their new website, and the start date keeps getting pushed back.

When it *does* go live, those who are eligible to use it will be sent an email or something through regular mail with instructions on how to use it.

I wouldn't count on it being up and running for a trip next week.

Hey there, just got off the phone with disney reservations. Apparently, online check in is suppose to go live at the end of February. No specific date is given though. And you are correct in saying that basically there will be an area set up that allows you to by pass the regular check in line at your hotel. With on line check in, your packet will be at the front desk waiting for you when you arrrive. Havea a wonderful trip!

Ooohh - I hope I hope I hope it's going to happen. That would be a blessing for those of us who have been multiple times and know the drill at check-in. By the time I drag my sorry old self off that plane and ride the bus to the hotel, all I want is a room key:animwink:
