Internet Access

I was just wondering if there is any internet access in WDW. I will be staying at AKL, does anyone know if they have the internet there? Or in any of the parks? If not, does anyone know of any internet cafes near WDW?

Coronado Springs just got its internet access in-the-room last month. The following resorts are on schedule to recieve it as well in the coming times-Yacht/Beach Club, Grand Floridian, Boardwalk Inn, Wilderness Lodge, and Old Key West. So no, AKL has yet to recieve in-room access.

I just need to check my emails every few days and i was wondering if there was an internet cafe type place in WDW.

I've gotten internet access at the business center at the Contemporary Resort Convention Center building.

The cheese cake factory at Disney quest has free internet with computers and all,limited use time per computer though

There are various pay per use payphone style internet terminals at locations in the parks and resorts. AKL has one of those.

Coronado springs does have high speed net access as well as wireless high speed access in the "El Centro" area. There is an extra charge for both types. I used this last week. Not too bad but wouldn't support the private IP connection required by my companies VPN software.

Swan and Dolphin have in room high speed access included in the $10 per day "resort charge". I saw a few people with laptops in the lounge at the Dolphin last week but I'm not sure they have wireless access there or not.

And of course there's always dial-up if you have a local access number or 800 number service.
