I've done the interview for the international cultural exchange program but had to withdraw because I started work as a software engineer before they could get back to me.

it's pretty much ok, it depends what you're going for. If it's the general intern program (like the normal CP everyone in America does), it's a pretty standard interview process, general questions like teamwork, crisis management, etc.

If it's the cultural exchange program there will be additional questions regarding how you would demonstrate your knowledge of the area which you come from - how would you, in effect, promote your country of origin.

Both however, require knowledge of the Walt Disney Company :)

Do you have any information on how i would go about applying?

How easy is to get in/get the interview/job??

This is the route I went through to get an interview. Don't know exactly where they show up, but I live in a relatively large city (Glasgow, Scotland) so I had my interview along with other candidates in Glasgow.

I got an interview on the first try but had to decline the second interview so I'm not familiar with the process after this point. But as with all jobs, the main key points are:

-Do your research - you need to know about the job you're applying for!
-Be yourself - you wouldn't be happy in a place where you had to appear to be someone else to work.
-Listen carefully to the questions - I was interviewed by the Head of Merchandise at Future World in Epcot and she definitely knows her stuff when it comes to interviewing ;)
-Enjoy yourself! Regardless of what happens, it's all good experience. Remember, you're entering an entertainment company so you have to show that you're comfortable in that environment.
-Prior experience helps - before I applied I had just finished about 5 years working for the Disney Store in Glasgow.

Good luck to you both! I realise it's now Friday so any news on the interview rotherad?

I live in Edinburgh so Glasgow would be ideal for the interview if i got that far.

Last time i looked into it they said i would have to travel to London, which kinda put me off as was a bit of a trek for just an interview.

I think i will look into it again though as its something i really want to do before i get to old haha

thanks for the info.

Ah, I love Edinburgh! Travelling to London isn't so bad, it only takes an hour on the plane. I go to London quite a bit with work and it's always good fun. Make a trip of it! :D
