Hey guys, I know people have been wondering about where the castle stay will be held at and etc.. I dont know if this has been posted already but here goes. I was looking at information about cinderellas castle on wikipedia when I found this.........

On June 7, 2006, it was announced by Disney that the apartment would be completely decorated and upholstered as a 'royal bedchamber', which can sleep upto four people. It will become available as a once-in-a-lifetime experience during the Year of a Million Dreams celebration taking place at all eleven Disney theme parks, and an overnight stay in the apartment will be a prize randomly awarded to a guest at the Magic Kingdom, or indeed any park at the Walt Disney World Resort. More details will become known as the celebration opens and someone stays in the apartment.

Just thought you would like to know. How true do you think this information is.

Oh it's true, it's true.... What happens after the celebration though is anyone's guess.

What else, Disney will continue to use the bedroom as a special event bedroom. People who pay big bucks will be able to stay in the castle for a whopping $3000 dollars a night. YOU MUST RESERVE YOUR NIGHT 17 Years in advance to get in.

Just imagine though, spending your honeymoon with your new spouse in Cinderella's Castle! For me that sounds a little funky (but I'm a guy) but your spouse will love it!

If any of you guys aren't married yet, start saving up! Or, if you are, tell your boys to start saving up because it will take them their entire lives to be able to buy a night in that room-it will be that expensive!

I meant that I would feel sortof awkward sleepinig in Cinderella's bed. Just the sound of it sortof scares me especially if it was on my honeymoon.

I'm not saying I wouldn't want to get a free night in the castle, it would just be a little awkward sleeping there.

No harm intended...

Yeah, I think spending a honeymoon in the castle might be kinda awkward when it comes to certain...stuff...you typically do on a honeymoon. Methinks it would feel a bit, um, inappropriate. Don't worry, no harm taken!

I think it sounds a little weird for any kind of stay. I mean, will they have some sort of staff attending to you? I think I'd feel a little uncomfortable with that . . . and if they don't have people there, will you be all alone? Will they let you go out and wander around? That would be the coolest thing for me, but I have a feeling they'd want to keep you in there, and that would make me feel like some sort of prisoner.

Some random Info:

The Castle is in a Contest not a random guest in the park (check the Disney Dreams site).

After the Park closes no one is aloud out of the Castle, there will be security around.

It been rumored that the Apartment makeover is estimated in over 2 million dollars.

Just curious, why is there an umlaut on the "A" in Apartment above (Ä) ?

No thank you.

Would people really want that? To be held prisoner in a fake castle?

I just had an idea (scary huh?), how about a resort built like the castle?

Everyone that can't afford to stay in Cinderella Castle can get a suite at this new resort.

Just a thought.

I don't think an enormous picture of cinderella above the bed would be innappropriate...with the eyes that follow you like in HM...

Nope not creepy at all.
