here's a site that has some interesting facts about disney... one that amazes me is about them seperating their plumbing into a water pile and a ________ pile, which the ________ fertalizes the trees and then water waters plants all around the park... check it out!

That is interesting. I will be very careful in the future about avoiding the water from the sprinklers, too.:lookaroun

The water has been cleaned, just not purified.

It wouldn't hurt you to touch, just don't drink it! :animwink:

I believe the reclaimed water is used more to water plants that aren't right next to Guest areas. Like the beds along the roadways and areas set back from the walkways. The flower beds in the parks are probably watered using the same water feed lines as the restrooms and water fountains.

its not just Disney

A lot of large "planned" developments use reclaimed water for landscape irrigation and decorative ponds. Some of them even have separate water piped to homes in the subdivisions for irrigation.
