Interesting (and VERY GOOD!) Dilemma

We just got an unexpected surprise - a few extra hours!

We are planning on our flight arriving in MCO @ 9:13am on 7/20, DME -> POR, then to MK

We have 5 day tickets w/ Park Hopper @ WP&More

So Sunday = Day 1, Monday = 2, Tuesday = 3, Wednesday =4, Thursday =5.

Now, we found out that we might not be leaving MCO until 3:00PM on the Friday (7/25). That should mean that DME picks up around 12 noon, correct?

That being the case...are we able to go to a water park that morning? Or have all of the passes expired?

If we can't go to a waterpark that day, what should we do?

ETA: How about dining? If we save a credit, can we go eat that day somewhere?

Presuming you don't have the No Expiration option, the WP&M admissions are still valid until the 14th day after first use of the ticket, so yes, you can go to a water park on your checkout day.

And yes, dining credits don't expire until midnight of your checkout day, so if you have any leftovers you can use them.

Whether you can get to a water park and get back to your hotel in time for your DME pickup I cannot speak of in any authority.

Edit to add: You might want to be ready to hop in a taxi at the water park and pay the few dollars to get back to POR in a timely manner if it looks like you're running behind. I'd also suggest going to Typhoon Lagoon over Blizzard Beach. TL is right around the corner from POR whereas BB is clear on the other side of property.

What @Rob562 said.

If it was me, though, I think I'd be tempted to spend a half day at a water park one of the other days and use the time right before you leave at one of the other parks (probably whichever other park time you shifted around for the water park on another day). I would think you all would want to get cleaned up again after spending a few hours at the water park, whereas you might not get as dirty in the other parks if it's just that morning. Plus, you'd have wet swimsuits to contend with, etc.

The other thing to think about is (from what I've heard) the buses to the water parks may not be as reliable as the buses to the other parks since they're not quite as popular. You might be less likely to be cutting things as close if you were at any of the 4 major parks.
