My Fuji camera is 1.3 which is good quality. But, if you want to get a really nice digital camera with great quality such as 2.0-2.5 then go with a Sony becuase I believe they are really easy to operate.

I recommend the Olympus Camedia digital cameras. I have the Olympus D460Z that I bought about a year ago. this year's model is even smaller with more mp (mine is 1.3megapix... can print all the way up to 8X10 if I have good framing on my original picture - so as to not waste pixels). Anyway.. the advantage of the Olympus brand is the use of a glass lens in the camera. Some digital cameras use plastic lenses, so the quality is not as good as it can be.

I recommend reading as much as possible online before purchasing stuff like this. Before I make a big purchase I take a look at

or

Consumer Review

You'll see Olympus camera's usually in the top 3. They seem to be very affordable for the quality you get. You will not be disappointed.

Good luck!

Well... If you were willing to wait a bit and save up, you can get one like I have... A professional, 35mm Quality Digital Camera.
Its the Sony DSC-F707 camera.
5.24 MegaPixels
She takes one hell of a Picture :-)
One downfall is, they take up a ton of room on your HD. I shot all of my WDW Pics this year in about the 4MP setting, and I took 650 pics, and it eats up about 880 megs on my HD(about 1.5mb Per Pic)

I second the vote for the Fuji Finepix 1300. Its a good first digital camera. Easy to use and takes great pictures. And the price cant be beat!

Check out my site for sample Disney pictures!

I have a Canon Powershot S20 with the IBM microdrive I can hold on my lowest setting over 900 pictures. All the shots I have posted here on wdwmagic have been taken with that camera. I love it.

I have a sony DSC-P50....REALLLLLLY great pics comeing from this bad boy...the only downside is that its sony..so that means MEMSTICKS (REALLY expensive)...but it goes for about 250 retail..so its not a bad deal.

I had the olympus d406z for a year and really liked it. But it was time to move on to biggher and better, so i brought the olympus c-2040c (2 mp). I looked into 3 and 4 mp camersa but didnt need that many mp. before you buy go to www.cnet.com and read user opinions on the cameras you are looking at. good luck
