Rides awsum,Shows awsum, resorts awsum, Food awsum..but its the things you can't read about ahead of time that draw you back to Disney along with the obvious.

For us The Weather !!! we are summer people to Disney mostly and after a long northern winter those 90 degree days are soooo nice..even the hour thunderstorms cant deter us.

The friendliness of all the cms, bus drivers, waitresses, EVERYONE..wow!

The cleansiness..its so imaculate...hard pressed to find trash anywhere..

The attention to detail everywhere...buildings, etc

Just the array of different cultures and the pure enjoyment of people watching

The ability of Disney to make everyone feel that each day there is one of the best days of your lives

MORE? ......

Awsum list so far. I can relate especially to the bit about the weather. I too visit Disney mostly during the summer, and love how subtropic it is. 95 degrees with 95 percent humidity? Yes, please!

Also:
- The sheer quality of the architecture in the parks. Liberty Square, World Showcase, Hollywood Boulevard and surroundings - these are real treasure troves, almost open-air museums.
- The splendour of the castle.
- The majesty of SSE. What a piece of work!
- The monorail!
- The combo Peoplemover and Space Mountain.
- Really cool Disney employees. From princesses to shop assistants to cleaners, some of them have really made my day.

A feeling of utter tranquility comes over me. Even if we're running late for an ADR or we're melting in the heat/humidity (we're not hot weather people even though we come from GA!), there is something about being anywhere in WDW that makes me feel at peace and full of joy. Corny, I know, but thankfully for me it's absolutely true!

All the above!! Plus it's waking up at 6 AM for rope drop, sights and sounds of Pop Century, walking through the resort gift shops every day of trip. Just to name a few of ours!! Hurry up March 2!!!!

A picture says a thousand words; for both tangible and intangible, check out all the picture threads (that sure says a lot for both). Disney detail in almost everything they do.

Just the sheer mass of WDW alone is worth the trip. Not to mention the ability to seperate yourself from the real world. I mean, when the MK was the only park it was miles away from anything else. They just do a good job with all the parks when it comes to that. The monorail/ferry to Magic Kingdom really gives you the feeling that you are entering a gateway to another world.

I guess other things like being in a park that has nothing else in the world like it. Nothing compares to Haunted Mansion. I love the classic Haunted Houses (Niagara Falls for example) where you walk through and get freaked out by things, but I can never shake the feeling that the Haunted Mansion is so much better than even the best one. No, you don't get scared on it but the detail, man! I swear that hallway in the library looks a mile long but it isn't. How do they do it? Who knows.

Not to mention even the simplest Disney song in the world makes me pause. "Its a Small World" automatically takes me back to the Magic Kingdom regardless of where, when or how I hear it. No other park can do that for me.

Not to mention when you go to your average Six Flags park you see the usual "Drop zone" rides. Hey, they're fun, but give me the Tower of Terror for sheer thrills and theming anyday.
