Instilled for DCA 1.0

During the 90s up until the early 00s, I lived in a medium-sized town in Northwestern Vermont. While living there, my sister and I were lucky to have the Disney channel become a part of the standard cable line-up years before it did so in nearby states. As I was a frequent viewer of the channel, I remember frequent updates and commercials for the transformation of Disneyland into the Disneyland Resort. I specifically remember seeing views of DCA 1.0's postcard like entrance and the Orange Stinger. Although I have been to Disney World countless times, I never have been to DLR. Despite never going to DCA, I can not help but feel a sense of fondness for images of yester-California Adventure. Has anyone else experienced this sort of thing for DCA or any other park?

As much as I couldn't stand DCA in its first five or six years, I do miss aspects of it. I miss the letters in the front, the mural, the Golden Gate Bridge, and Maliboomer. The current DCA is actually less Californian now.

It's a highly flawed park that was thankfully not irreparable. In my opinion, it still needs a lot of work. Lots of closures and demolitions, improvements to the walkways/layout and several E Tickets.
