Since Inside Out 2 is announced, since IO was close to being added to Imagination right before COVID, if the 2nd movie does well, could that lead to them bringing back the idea?

IF they even talk of removing Figment we riot.

It is clear no one is listening at Disney. Figment is a HUGE untapped IP that they dont have to pay anyone for that has untapped merchandising as well.

They could close the imagination pavilion for a year, and if we knew what was coming nobody would care, unlike most closures. If they promised an immersive well told attraction based on dreamfinder and figment (maybe create a tv show/movie to go along, I know rumors have been told but until its done I dont believe it).

The anticipation for that attraction would top tiana, tron, avatar....

There are so many people clamoring for old Epcot and miss Figment and the dream finder. Imagine the lines! Imagine the merch sales.

Anytime that they release any merch, from a funko to a popcorn bucket people wait for hours.

You want to improve the parks and bring in more money to Epcot, make a state of the art, modern, attraction (in my opinion using an omnimover or slow moving trackless) with animatronics and emotional throwbacks to the original.

And your ROI will be amazing.

Yes , Figment and Dreamfinder is an untapped gold mine. Why hasnt Dis realised that. But they never have listened to us. Rioting if they took them away would still be unheard by deaf ears. They dont have a care what we want or think. Theyve proven that by their actions over and over again.

Let's face it Imagination as an attractions sucks so bad that it is the reason there is a vacuum in space. When Inside Out first came out I stated that I thought that it would make a great replacement. It is funny, very colorful and anything would be better than what is in that sad, sad pavilion now.

Even I can semi-imagine the things that could be done with it having every emotion independently represented along the ride, they could install an escalator and larger elevator and open up the top floor again filled up with things to do and with a background of all those bright ball colors framing it. I could see it bring everything back to life in that building. Who knows maybe someone smarter then I could figure out how to make Figment the attraction guide. And why not a connected movie in that cobweb collecting theater. Maybe just a synopsis of the original move like a length preview of coming attractions type movie. Imagination and emotions are very closely related.

It would cost quite a bit but we all know how ready Disney is to invest in something that is upbeat and relevant. Yea, even I didn't believe that last sentence. I guess it's to much to dream.

What more do these executive morons need.
He's the most popular epcot character.

Not some ridiculous teddy bear.

I don’t see this as a possibility. After the pandemic first started, they seemed to use Figment a lot more(with popularity seemingly at an all time high as of recent); the holiday sweaters, more festival art/merch(I.E. popcorn bucket and Odyssey pavilion decorations), new M&G, inclusions in other media, and announced movie. I wouldn’t get why they would dump all of this suddenly.

If they're really so desperate to shove the IP in the Imagination pavilion, why don't they just stick it in the Magic Eye Theater? I think a show would probably fit the IP better than a dark ride anyhow (unless you want the dark ride to just be scene after scene of the emotions gathered around a control panel).

I don't think they're getting rid of Figment. His merch has been making a killing in recent years. They won't be throwing away a cash cow like that, especially since his stuff is selling so well even with the ride being in such an awful state.

& like @Rodj they've been using him in other media like the Disney kart racer game. I don't think they'd be approving that if they have any intention of getting rid of him.
