Innovative NEW Idea

Not quite show how to go about this… maybe someone here can’t point me in the right direction?

I actually think the chances are quite slim to even have the idea heard but it's worth a shot.

This idea came after my last 10 day visit to Disney World this past August. I had one of those MAJOR epiphanies that addresses a MAJOR area for improvement using something that’s already being used everywhere within the parks.

The reason why I say major epiphany is because I really think this idea is one of those type of game changer ideas we rarely get. I've shared it with a couple of close people for their initial reactions and they think the same thing.

It’s something I really don’t want to put out there to the public, (sorry, don't mean to keep you on your seat guessing) but I KNOW it’s one of those ideas that they would want to hear. I actually think it would GREATLY improve the guest experience and improve the overall efficiency in this area, as well as possibly save money.

It’s actually something ALL amusement parks will definitely want in their parks but knowing Disney they have the ability to take the idea and implement it on a whole other level. It’s a really innovative and technically fairly simple concept but would add a GREAT deal to the guest experience on warm/hot days.

It would even put the park ahead (as if it weren't already) in regards to upgrading and appearance within the parks without changing a great deal of what’s already there.

Does anyone know how I could go about sharing this information with someone within Disney?

You could always write Guest Relations, but Disney makes it well known that they do not accept ideas from outside the company. They run the risk of someone claiming they're owed royalties or other compensation for the idea, if used.

Yeah... that's pretty much what I've heard and was thinking. It's way too bad. Ugh! Maybe I'll just approach another park or vendor. Hey might be better for me anyhow as well. lol

Thank you for the feedback, it's appreciated.

You could always have dinner with an imagineer and tell them...if your willing to pay the price of it.

You could revolutionize the parks so that people would no longer have to wait in line and even then you would get nowhere selling your idea to the company.

Not to be difficult...because I too would love to have my ideas in Disney parks...but if you really have a GREAT idea...don't send it to Disney! Capitalize on it!! If you can...get a patent or something, anything to protect your IP!
