I've been to WDW seven times. Six times we stayed at POFQ. One time at Coronado Springs. This year, I am considering a Wilderness Cabin. We normally need two rooms, so the cost would be less (we go during the "value" season). I know the cabins come with kitchenettes, but I have no desire to prepare meals while on vacation. What I need to be re-assured of, if possible, is if the cabins and their location are as convenient as POFQ, for example. I'm talking about the distances from the cabins to the bus stops, pool, restaurant, etc. It's just so darn easy at the resorts we've stayed at in the past and I'm not willing to risk the comfort and ease I'm accustomed to.

Any help, suggestions, or opinions on this matter will be GREATLY appreciated.

Thanks in advance everyone!

The website http://wdwig.com has info on Ft Wilderness, but the neat thing is that it actually has a map of the campground. So you can decide for yourself if you want to stay there or not. Good luck making that decision and enjoy your trip.
